Yeah, seeing this today surprised the hell out of me. Great to know Sega's still determined to support this game. I'm crossing my fingers that it means an announcement for a new VF is somewhere down the road.
Anyway, I hope the top 16 from Sega Cup gets uploaded onto YouTube soon. I want to watch some of the matches I missed, but the stream archive isn't on LevelUp's Twitch page.

2 days isn't very much time to run big tournaments, especially when you want to represent as many games as most do. The bigger you get the more required 3 days is. 2 days for smaller major/regionals is fine but not for the larger ones.

I didn't even know there was a website for UFGT9! Looking forward to be there for my first ever tournament. Even though I'm just watching (I'm terrible at umvc3), I can't wait to go!

I'd say it was a positive light. He missed the days of crazy crossovers like CvS and Marvel or rather when the risk taking that lead to such crazy crossovers.
