New York City Police say a man is being held after an explosion at a bus terminal in Manhattan.
The blast happened on Monday morning in an underpass at the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square.
Police said no-one other than the suspect had been hurt.
"The NYPD is responding to reports of an explosion of unknown origin at 42nd Street and 8th Ave, #Manhattan," tweeted the department.
"The A, C and E line are being evacuated at this time. Info is preliminary, more when available."

I will say it again what we need are stricter immigration laws so that the people who have no radical thoughts can be "rescued" by this rotten radical Islam. The ones however we do need to get rid of or for a better word depart are these people with radical thoughts and even more so the people who are teaching it to others.
We need to build a form of western Islam otherwise we will have some huge problems in the future. Just to ignore this issue will become very dangerous in like 20 years.
