I'm just hoping the endgame is before next Tuesday, or failing that by the 24th.
vDaedalus said:I'm thinking Monday. What's that... 5/16? Write me in.
Kagari said:With testing going smoothly, my guess is Monday/Tuesday.
Kagari said:A small update: They've been doing QA on the network since earlier this week, on several games with no issues. Everything seems to be running smoothly...
For MP only I suppose. Everything else will take longer I bet.Kagari said:With testing going smoothly, my guess is Monday/Tuesday.
If it's monday, that would be 25 days of downtime (it officially went down for everyone on the 21st). Not sure what calendar you use that 25 days is a month.Mikey Jr. said:So we are looking at a month of downtime.
Surreal.

This is something that's annoyed me a bit, if testing is going smoothly, why have Sony spokespeople been saying it'll be up in a few days surely they would know it would be much longer assuming everything goes well. Sometimes I wonder if most of the Sony heads genuinely have no idea what is going on over there.Kagari said:With testing going smoothly, my guess is Monday/Tuesday.
jayb said:This is the kind of news that the PS Blog should have been posting all along. It's just specific enough to let us know that they are at least making progress. That's all we need.
Someone should post a PS Blog share idea for Kagari to take over Patrick Seybold's position.
Seybold?lolypoly said:Sweet...any day now. Can't wait to go back to playing videogames.

I'd vote for her. Can she also take over for Grace Chen? I'm assuming you know how to flip a switch at a certain time every week, right Kagari?jayb said:This is the kind of news that the PS Blog should have been posting all along. Mikey Jr. said:It went down on the 20th. Next Wednesday will be a month.
Kagari said Monday/Tuesday.
I would classify 28/29 fucking days as a month.
it actually didn't go down for EVERYONE until the 21st. I'm not going by some internet news or such. I'm going by the fact that I was still chatting with my buddy over steam while playing portal on Wednesday. It may have been super late at night on Wednesday PDT... and of course some people were having problems as early as tuesday, but as of like 11pm-12am EDT that wednesday it was still up for chat and multiplayer for many/most of us.Mikey Jr. said:It went down on the 20th. honestly, every american at age 13 should be shown a picture of an anthropomorphic animal, and if they go "cool!!" they should be put in a box and that box should be lit on fire and tossed into chesapeake bay
He is the guy who updates the US PS Blog. He said "a few days" and you said "any day now". That was the joke =)lolypoly said:What's a Seybold?

Thanks, Wario! You're the best.TheSeks said:$20 PSN cards for EVERYBODY! Make it happen, Wario.
test_account said:Maybe Sony will keep PSN down for exactly one month for future reference, since is much easier to remember "it was down for one month" compared to "it was down for 26 days" or something like that. (yes, it is a joke hehe =)).

I don't even think you have to register. According to this, you just have to wait for an e-mail. I'm assuming they'll be sent to all US PSN accounts:Persona7 said:So I make an account on https://www.allclearid.com/ and then wait for an email?
