For those who are not happy with the summer sales, here you have some presents!

Tomorrow we made one year since we launched 3Souls on Wii U, so we just want to give some codes away because... why not?

So here is some for NG!

quote to reveal and remove the "_______" from the code:

Europe only one less!:

America: gone!

Australia / New Zealand:

If you take it, just let me know so I cross it here ;). If you like it and you want to support the game, you can leave some comments on Miiverse before it dies! :p And if you have any suggestion or anything you want to share, just send me a PM, Im always more than welcome to hear different opinions about the game.

Enjoy!

ps: the 2 part missing are coming hopefully in a couple of month (as free update!)

never post codes openly!

lurkers or bots will snatch things up before actual regulars will!

hide them in email tags or break them up with replaced elements

I just caved in and bought the four Mii Plaza games Nintendo released last year, so be prepared for them to go on sale tomorrow in two weeks, everyone!

Of-fucking-course.
I didn't pay that much more, so normally I wouldn't care, really. But for about a week the damn homepass thingy isn't working for me anymore, so I can't even play the damn games. -.-

What a dissaster of giveaway! XD well if a bot took any of them... enjoy little bot I guess :p. Thanks for your help!

You don't need to do both, by the way. Non-registered users can't see the invisible stuff in the tags, that's why people like to use email tags to hide stuff like this sometimes, you can only see it when quoting the post since that transplants the original post into the BBCODE editor :)

I see, got right for the next time then ;). Thanks again for the info!

Good news: Infinite Minigolf has a date again on the eShop, rather than the vague TBD.
Bad news: The date is today, but we've already had our update and it wasn't there.

Ninja Spirit coming out is interesting. It got delisted briefly on the Wii (it's back now). I'll probably stick with Air Zonk though.

Well, since we're on a giving mood already.
I thought to celebrate the US release of my own game, Eba & Egg with a small giveaway of my own.

Of course this goes up just as soon as I leave the house. This looks interesting, too.

edit: I remembered that I can redeem codes on the web, so I grabbed the 7th one. Thank you! ^_^

lol I have no idea. This game is a frantic riot, how could you even have time to notice if there were frame drops? I downloaded it to the SD card and it did take a while to load levels, installing to system memory is a bit faster. It's definitely the slowest loading game I have on Switch, like 7 seconds to get into a level, which isn't bad but all my other games are lightning fast and you never even notice loading screens.

Out of the 4-player Switch options, I think I've played them all, I would hands down recommend:

1. Mario Kart 8
2. Puyo Puyo Tetris
3. Overcooked!
4. ARMS

...All of those games can be picked up by any age/skill of gamer and have fun. All of those you can fail/lose and still have a good time playing.

I would cautiously recommend:

5. Death Squared
6. Snipperclips
7. Super Bomberman R

Death Squared is an easy game to pick up and play, however it's less on the "fun and cute" side like Overcooked and more on the "Brain teaser, crossword puzzle, sudoku" style of game. Not for every gamer, you have to be in the mood for accomplishing something over having fun. Snipperclips has more complicated controls and asks you for precision to move on, and that takes away a level of the fun. And Bomberman, is yeah... that. My biggest issue with this version is that the camera is zoomed out too far and its hard as hell to see your character and it's easy to get lost. Less experienced gamers will get frustrated by this.

All seven of those games are solid picks. I would would recommend all-in on those top four over the bottom three which are more specific in the type of 4-player game you want to have.

4. ARMS

...All of those games can be picked up by any age/skill of gamer and have fun.

That's all super helpful to read. Thanks for sharing! As long as performance doesn't affect playability I don't care how many frames are dropped so that is good to know. And I agree on Snipperclips - super fun but the controls are a bit unforgiving to me. I definitely want to check out Overcooked and Death Squared.

I didn't quite understand the Pac-Man VS availability in that text above....... It's only part of Namco museum?
Basically, if you want to be able to have someone play as Pac-Man, similar to the original Pac-Man Vs., you'll need to download the free app so there's a second screen/switch, where as if you only have one switch, only 3 people can play as the ghosts & Pac-Man is controlled by the CPU.

But yes, the game is only playable if someone owns Namco Museum.

It seems like Astro Duel Deluxe and Flip Wars are missing from your list. Both are brilliant fun and good games, but a bit low on content. IMO, Astro Duel Deluxe (we've played it a lot here) has more gameplay variation than Flip Wars.

Right on, thank you :)

Cool to see more TurboGrafx games. I'll probably get Air Zonk at some point.

For those who are not happy with the summer sales, here you have some presents!

Great of you to do this! I had no idea about your game before but I looked it up and just bought it.

I love games that use the two screens in novel ways and I also like to buy Gaffer Eshop games. Is there a list of the latter somewhere?

Hello guys!

I got a switch a couple of weeks ago! It's my first nintendo console since the n64, so I'm really new to the nintendo online ecosystem.
A couple of questions: Does nintendo have digital sales, like all the other platforms? Do the digital games lower in price, like permanently, what's a good place to get eshop cards for lower prices?

I'm very spoiled by valve and sony's flash sales, nintendo store looks...expensive.

Thanks in advance!

Digital sales are very rare. They happen often on 3DS, occasionally on WiiU, and we've seen like ONE game go on sale so far on Switch. But overall, they don't happen often and are not as good as PS4/XBox/Steam.

Best place to get eShop cards: Here on this forum on the Buy/Sell Thread. Best Buy and retailers occasionally have deals, reference: www.cheapeassgamer.com

Hope you guys enjoy Eba & Egg, from our fellow GAFfer dani_dc, who's also handsome and smart (OK, he may really not be that smart). He's been working at the game for a long time. Sadly I can't play it because I don't own a Wii U; and yes, I already bugged him for a Switch port :p

Oh, and if anyone tries the Spanish translation and doesn't like it, I'm the one to blame (don't complain too much though, I did it for fun!).
