This is kinda weird. A wimp kid suddenly gets powers so that delinquent girls are suddenly attracted to him and do what he says. Though he's still a wimp so he can't really accomplish anything by himself.

Nice lighthearted series about a couple and their dates.
Must be nice.

Madoka Magica - Magia Record Reports p1-11
Official webcomic for the upcoming Madoka mobage. It's partially intended to introduce the setting/characters, and partially just an excuse for silliness. The new gang don't actually look terrible (some of them anyway), though obviously they're no match for the original quintet. I'd be interested if the game ever got a proper western release, but for the sake of my free time/wallet I'm kinda hoping it doesn't.

Yeah, if it's toilets then it has to be Hanako. I feel like something disastrous will happen if she ever pulls her shoulder straps up properly. Also bullying Mary is less satisfying when she has no recollection of who the offending party is.

But how many of the 100 hours a boring grind? Thats the kind of thing that turns me off jrpgs. Hell its probably why I've spent most of my spare time the last few years watching anime rather than playing games.

Deleting a character immediately after their moment of revelation is nothing new for this series, but it's still hilariously satisfying. Truck-kun's little brother working their usual showstopping magic. Still, that was an impressive degree of dream control while she was alive - if I had that ability the world'd be gone by Tuesday.
The existence of Yomi's hell realm has been alluded to before, but I think this is the first proper insight there's been into it. Not sure why it took me so long to realise that her cutesy assistant is actually a skeleton, nor why she needs calcium given her current state. But hey, if it keeps him feeling happy/useful then I won't judge.

This guy has a talent for finding girls from other worlds. Or at least the ones who can't adjust to the fatty foods. Its like when foreigners come to the US and don't pay attention to what they eat and get fat because our food is fatty and comes in large portions.
But you don't have to do any of that grinding nonsense. There's no levels or anything. It makes it easier if you go get more hearts and get better weapons and stuff, but its not required.
Either way, I don't find it tedious like I do in other JRPGs.

Reading through some Strawberry Marshmallow and I never really noticed the occasional underwear shot before. You'd think it'd be part of some creepy fanservice but it's just there. Or at the very least the its fanservice and the author must be one subtle motherfucker
On that note going I remember seeing things like DragonBall or Zatch Bell where you'd see a little boy's penis but its not portrayed as anything to gawk at. Or stuff like Calvin and Hobbes where you'd have strip #___ having Calvin admire himself in his lucky briefs.

Madoka Magica - Towakano (SFW doujin)
I don't really play favourites with Maitake works, but this is probably up there with Debikano as my most enjoyed. It establishes a serious premise right from the start and then runs with it throughout, with less comedic sideshows than usual. I can't help but look forward to the day when god and the devil square off for real, even if the outcome doesn't favour my team. Also black dress Homura is a miracle of each and every universe.

I guess that's the exception to the 'follow Hayakawa blindly' rule, though the verbal communication should've been more of a giveaway. Plus the whole signing suspicious contracts in a foreign language thing. Watching a man be assaulted by his ex's internal organs while she desperately tries to cram them back into herself was about as hilarious as it sounds.

Every chapter I keep reminding myself that this is by the Cage of Eden author to keep my expectations at subterranean levels. That's why I wasn't hyped for the 'batshit female cast' premise. Or the yuri. Or the lewdness. And that's why I won't get hyped for nightime stabbings in fashionably questionable outfits. Well, her knife's actually clean, so I'm assuming she wasn't responsible for Sayoko's near-death experience.
