I'm just talking in the general sense, both games were 'dead' for a long time, then a resurgence happened and a newer style came with the resurgence, and some people enjoy it while others don't and also don't really like the change.

I like both games, though. I haven't played an older Persona game yet, though.

Sorry if I don't feel sorry for those of you bitching about too much Persona, but as somebody who was first and foremost a Persona fan, I see a long stretch of time there where all we got was Persona 2. Us Persona fans are getting a little (deserved) love lately; let us enjoy it.

out of the 5, only 2 are "games", the rest are ports/expansions ..

Already said, but not five games. Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona. And Persona doesn't even count, because it's a rework, so basically TWO new Persona games. Persona 3 is getting what amount to director's cut / "game of the year" editions.

And no, I don't bitch about Square remakes. Why in the world should I? Remakes don't stop new games from coming out, and if I don't care, then I don't play them.

So the new game by Brownie Brown wasn't in this Famitsu? Not that I expect much, but it seems weird. Maybe it's something that'll get announced at Gamescom...

you should not expect crap. Brownie Browns games are some of the few games I just hate because of mediocrity.

I'm no so sure Persona is niche anymore. It's got great sales and tremendous critical acclaim. And a HUGE fanbase, right now. Well, P3/P4.

Because most of them died from heart failure after seeing the terrible changes in P3. Also because they waited 6-7 years for a true sequel. Looks like they'll be waiting for all eternity.

Because this wasn't in Famitsu. It's in next week's Jump.

It's the International Version, with English voice track, but it also supports the save data of the original Dissidia. That's pretty big news for Dissidia fans considering the sort of game it is.
