Gah flight got delayed 2.30 hours last night, didn't feel like checking internet after that so didn't see the new ships earlier.

Wow, most of them are glorious, except type-II potato class ship. Just some other trophy DD. That DE is a must get and the new SS, need at least 2 of her. Ark Royal slot distribution looking good as well. Better than Saratoga for 2 torp/dive planes, but if only 1 torp/dive is needed, yes Saratoga fare better..

EDIT: Looking at the maps and their rewards, I'd better slap a BP and Catapult to Taiyou and use her in E2 and E3. Lucky I've leveled her to 85 before. It also helps that E6 give another Catapult on all difficulty.

lol this Chinese guy on Twitch has been at it for 22 hours. I think I'm going to do E7 on medium unless there's some stupid reward. :p

Wow, he finally beat it. I watched him spend 100 bucks on repair goddesses and he used 2 on the last run he did.

E1H - Grey:
1BBV 1CVL 2CL 2DD + 2DD [No speed limitation]
Ise K, Shouhou K, Naka KN, Isuzu KN, Suzukaze, Samidare + Murasame, Harusame
Asashio KN as backup in case of less OASW. Erotofu to the rescue.

Additional ships used: Suzuya K(dupe), Yamakaze K and Erotofu K
Ships obtained: Got Sagiri after 5 S rank at S node in hard mode.
DONE: 7 runs with 6 reaching boss. No support used.

I think 95% of all my planning is complete. Already cleared E1H. It was really easy. Currently on E2H. Aiming for a full hard clear.


Edit: I've been stuck on E2H LD for hours now. Please help. QQ

Join me my friend. Stuck there as well. Preboss node is the problem now, reach the boss node with 1 - 2 ships in chuuha or taiha midway. Opening torps from that FS and pretty much need to restart again. Boss expedition might help but with all ships in red, it's basically useless. People saying the need of node support + boss support. Might want to try that as well.

Akashi is repairing some ships now. Might try another round in an hour or two.

Gah, 19 sorties to clear this map.
Akiduki finally felt like doing her job, clearing all abyssal attacking planes in boss node and delivering the final blow to the boss.
Used both boss and node support tho.

Umikaze still missing.

EDIT: E3H first TP bar run. Retreat, red T and taiha, all in one.

Amagiri at E3E L node 1.9%, S rank drop, TCF(lol) vs 2 BBs fleet.
Amagiri at E3E Q node 3.2%, S rank drop, CTF vs combined fleet.
Amagiri at E4E I node 4.0%, S rank drop, CTF vs combined fleet.

I guess I'll visit E3E a few times first :)
Else farm at E4 for better fleet.

BTW, I forgot to farm Umikaze at E2E :O

Put a lot of TCI and pray someone will hit huge.
I put 3 TCI ships, Hatsushimo finally TCI the boss with 436 damage.

BTW, Exercise is quite hard now with everyone putting their best ship around :'(

Amagiri best farmed at E4E node I. Better fleet for confirmed S rank. Drop rate higher as well. Easy on the buckets used as well. Forget E3 lol.

Yeah, 3 more runs on easy boss node since why not (I got a maruyu whyyyy) and then I'm going to try hard.

I wanted to avoid using support, but it feels like every freaking map requires it this event. Blarghhhh sparkling.

Ehhh.. Farming E4 node I on easy doesn't need any support. Very cheap. I got a Maruyu as well from there, even the drop rate only 1.5%. You almost got Amagiri then. I got her 4 - 5 runs after I got Maruyu. NeoGAF - Believe.

I sent the LBAS to node C to prevent cancer, no need support for node I boss, even on Hard. Node N one, RNG festival...

E4H is really troll. French Battleship Hime is made of hardened baguettes. She has an insane amount of armor and there's no debuff you can do to reduce that.


I beat E5H today. The boss was easy enough, but the problem is getting there. If the first node with troll subs don't send you home, the later nodes probably will.

I give up farming E5E. No sign of her dropping and the ships I got from there are either dupe or simply not rewarding at all. I mean, Isuzu? Fumizuki? Sigh..

I'll try to clear on hard after work. Hopefully it won't be too salty.

I'm pretty confident that I could clear E5H and E6H. But E7H looks like another kind of beast. And I want Graf from that map as well.

Okay thanks. So you used STF there... How much TP drained per run?

I'm getting around 107 / 153 TP drain per run with 0 drums and 14 daihatsu, but getting S is hard as one PT in escort usually survived the day battle, hence NB is pointless. Problem is that my 2 PT killers in main fleet keep on aiming the boss. I might need to put one PT killer in escort like you did.

On S rank I was getting 177 per run. On A rank it was about 123(?) or so.

And yes, having PT killers really help.

Wow. 177. All I manage to get was 172. I moved one daihatsu DD replacing CA to main fleet and add one more DD for PT kill in escort. Works well enough :)
Beaten the TP gauge. 21 runs, 18 reached the boss. Last dance, Troll sub dropped :)

I don't know if I want to bother with hard anymore... almost want to be done.

The fact that I'm not getting the DD to drop is also annoying... maruyus and Testes...

Whew, done E6H. HP bar was a joke. 5/5 S rank lol.

I might do E7 in normal difficulty. Hard mode there seems like too hard. Need a lot of good equips, ships with expansion slots, luck and time. I don't think I I have them all.

Drop to normal and cruise the event like a boss. Hard rewards aren't that good. E7H rewards are just some 4 stars bomber with just 10 ASW, with niche use case. E5 and E6 are okay to do on hard as they are fairly easy and you'll face same challenge on easy difficulty.

E4H is a harder version of E3H. Stars really need to be aligned to kill that boss. It took me 6 LD tries to finally clear the map.
On plus side, you can bring out all your lucky ships to trigger that TCI. E5 and E6 doesn't really rely on CI. Also KTKM might helps here, as at E6, you don't really need all 3 of them.

Did you have upgraded torps?

I don't know if I want to rush upgrade some torps and burn screws, but it seems like you need as much damage as possible to beat the boss.

It probably helps. I used Prinz with a skilled lookout and 3 quint torps that were only +2. Prinz does bonus damage to the boss while Warspite gives bonus damage to everyone in the day time shelling phase only apparently.


I busted out the Hotels for this map on hard.
