I'm not an otaku, don't have any figurines, but I do like anime. I know we had a otaku thread from 2chan in the past, but that one was more creepy then just plain old awesome/stylish like this (IMO).

Otaku's rooms and collection sets frighten me, but I got to say their obsession seems to make them a hell of a lot more organized and tidy then my mess of a room ever will be with so much stuff.

Stylish Otaku is an oxymoron. I saw this posted on Kotaku earlier this week and it was basically "hey dorks, you should go to ikea." This shot drives me nuts though..

If you're going to bother to make your place look even remotely decent (embarrassing anime girlie figures aside), look into some sort of WIRE MANAGEMENT SOLUTION. Yeargh! The other shots from this persons room featured anime love pillows so... yeah..

It's really not always about price, though. I have a pair of Denon D7000 headphones I bought for $650.00 new and I use a banana hanger I paid $12.00 for to hang them on. Works great

The kanji is fine, there's a different Chinese characters and kanji aren't 100% the same.

I tried to have room full of otaku craps, then I realized that I have to clean and dust off all the "trophy" every 2 weeks. I just say screw it and dump everything in a box.

I'm not a big fan of the new Gundam's (I did like Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer though), but the old one's are great IMO. I think Gundam died with Amuro and Char.
