I don't get this at all. I mean I've seen the gif with the guy ... but really ... this supposed to be some kind of hipster dig?

Anyway, I could photo shop him with a crew cut, baseball hat (backwards or forwards), khaki shorts or pants, sports team t-shirt and he could be from Boston.

Pretty sure something like that already exists.

Well I will shake those up a bit as I like to be different and well the best part about baseball is anything can happen. If the sport was just about who had the best team on paper it wouldn't be fun to watch :p

East: Red Sox
Central: Indians
West: Rangers
WC: Yankees, Tigers

NL
East: Marlins
Central: Reds
West: Diamondbacks
WC: Padres, Braves

As for my odd choices. I really think the Indians have a lot of spunk, and now that they are a year older they will be able to actually keep up that winning baseball they started off last season with, and as for the Padres well they are my team no one saw coming pick as most seasons seem to have one of those.

I'm a Mariner fan in Yankee territory. I cannot help it.

Fair enough. But you have to admit, just taking into account the natural attrition rate of starting pitching prospects, if you get away with 1 good starter and 1 good reliever out of 3, you're doing pretty well.

I would be absolutely shocked if they win the division. Maybe their defense is so atrocious it cost them the division!

We will just have to see at the end of the season. If I am wrong I give you full permission to mock me for picking the Indians :p

Mostly I just doubt the Tigers will win the division. Their past history suggests that they will be the second place team (they haven't won back to back divisions since the 1930s and they rarely have a winning record after the all star break since Leyland took over)
I think that the Royals are 1-3 years away from putting it together, the white sox are to handicapped with horrible contracts and to few young good players, the Twins could make a comeback as it's always hard to count them out (they have won the most divisions in the AL central since 2000) but I always hope the Twins come in last in the AL central... Which really left me with the Indians as my other choice.

Come at me Bros.

It should be noted that I almost never pick the home team. I honestly think they'll win it this year, for once.

They know he wants Cliff Lee years (5 w/ an easy ass option year) and they'll give it to him.

He'll be here for a while bro.

Wonder how Halladay feels after being fed the "we don't offer more than 3 years to pitchers" line and then watching Amaro shatter that with Lee and Hamels.

3yrs guaranteed, but has a 4th year option (that he probably won't see, by the way Charlie uses him) that gives him another 20mil.

And before they signed Lee last season, the front office called Doc and asked if he would be OK with Lee making more. Told them he had no problem with it (because he's that awesome).
