Switch, Mobile or Vita, for portable players what is your system of choice?

2+2=5

The Amiga Brotherhood
GPD Win! Lol

I passed from Vita to GPD Win and it's a completely new world in good and bad, the bad thing is that games aren't made with the GPD Win in mind so for heavier games it's a lottery but from small indies up to ps360 level games you are usually fine, and you can do everything with it because is a real pc at the size of a 3ds xl, so if you like or need to do something else other than playing then the GPD Win 1(or the Win 2 in 2018/2019) is a must buy imo, emulation, programs, tweaking and obviously the immense library of pc games(steam, gog etc).

Think of all the possibilities of a real computer in a shoulder pouch or even in a "real" pocket(but for safety i wouldn't put in there).

Also if you are a cheapo you can buy bundles and individual games for dirty cheap.

Even though I haven't bought any new Vita games in a year, I still keep it around because of the remote play.

As soon as I ditch Rogers internet, I would love to be able to stream my PS4 games anywhere.

Vita, great library, screen, battery life, etc. Switch is a terrible portable, it's too heavy, uncomfortable and battery life is too short.

The Switch is a dream in handheld mode. I absolutely love it. The 3DS has an amazing library, but the hardware seems like a cheap toy in comparison to Switch / Vita.

Switch. Haven't touched my 3DS and Vita for months. Took my Switch to the UK and on a recent business trip. It's portable enough and already has a good catalogue.

I don't think I can go back.

Switch

I sold my Vita (stupidly) and don't play mobile games as the iOS app store is mostly garbage these days. n3DS is also super uncomfortable to play.

Skyrim/ Mario / Stardew & Arena of Valor will really kick up my portable gaming time.

Switch has 100% changed the way I've gamed in the past couple months. It's easily that. I think I've only used it docked once or twice.

Still waiting for a revision of the Switch before going into it.
I mostly play portable so I have the mobile for reading when commuting.
3DS for my Nintendo fix. Vita for remote play and some native games.

Vita for real console-like games.

Though I play my mobile many hours every day due to the addictive nature of those games...

I dig out my 3DS maybe every 6-12 months if something significant releases, like a Metroid game :D

The Switch where the option is available but because of libraries I've sunk most hours into the Vita. 3DS close second, and getting use now for Metroid =)

Right now Vita because of the library. Still have a huge backlog to do. Most played system I ever had. And the most games I owned I ever had.

Switch. I don't have but tried my friend's. Seems good but right now it still doesn't have the games I want. Also the price is too high.

Mobile. Never again.

I haven't played Switch yet but mobile (phones/tablets) I rarely game on. The games just don't have a lot of depth and touch controls suck.

Since getting my Vita I play it nearly every day on my lunch break. Eventually I'll pick up a Switch and I'm sure I'll do the same.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
Switch for console like games, Nintendo games, and Nindies.

Mobile - for interesting touch games, quick time wasters, and CCGs

I prefer the form factor of the Vita, but it's hard to go back to after the screen real estate of the Switch. The versatility of the Switch is also a huge plus.

In the end it's all about the games though. I've never really liked the 3DS' design but you can't argue with that kind of a library. If the Switch gets the kind of support we saw on 3DS it'll easily overtake it as my favorite handheld. Until then, I'll probably still pack my 3DS for long trips.

My phone is with me at all times, so mobile.

Switch is home in the cradle unless I make the effort to pack the carrying case and lug it along.

I jumped on the switch wagon after the vita....i want her back now. Both great but vita has a great selection.

Going to be selling my switch and look for a sweet vita package to get pulled back in.

If this is an attempt at trying to get into portables after this mess of a post you made yesterday

Graphics

The only portable game I ever enjoyed was Pokémon Blue. Never really cared about any other portable games and I don't play games outside house.

Meanwhile I bought Xbox because of how amazing Ninja Gaiden looked and bought Dreamcast because of how good Sonic Adventure looked at that time.

Entertained the idea of buying a Switch but I am not into portables and not really into Nintendo exclusives anymore.

Looking forward to Xbox one x and Assasins Creed origins

then good for you, OP

3DS > Switch > mobiles >>> Vita

Vainglory is very deep & maybe the best mobile game out there but yes the controls are too rough.

I only do portable gaming at home. When I go out I socialise and stay away from gaming, though mobile has some convenient little games that can be played with one hand for a minute when necessary especially since we carry phones with us anyway all the time. So for me while outside, Mobile first then Switch. For when at home Switch first
