Probably because how it was advertised as an avenue for an easy platinum trophy. If that trailer didn't have those aspects or VO, I bet it could have just gotten away as a shitty puzzle game with easy trophies.

I don't see where this game had any less merit than My Name is Mayo, other than Mayo at least having some minimal effort towards personality.
