I guess there's not much to expect from Switch sales until ARMS is out.

3DS being slightly up is surprising, though it's only ~1k so not really that big a deal.

By every single report from the last week, including the famitsu write up, its still supply constrained.

First time I can... ever(?) remember there being no Vita games in the top 20. Bummer.

Anyway, guess Switch is getting lower shipments for the time being. Unless they're working themselves back up little by little.

Pretty poor for DanganRonpa. Guess everyone who wanted to play those games in Japan played on PSP and/or Vita.

Constrained for sure.
The BotW and Mario Kart numbers still feel like 40k+ Switches sold good.

Demand doesn't matter if they can't make any ample supply. I wouldn't proclaim demand fading if it's selling everything they ship still.

Almost certainly constrained, and suggests Nintendo is only getting about 25k-ish units to retailers a week at the moment. Heavily betting they're holding some supply back for ARMS' release week.

thank you. so, hard to actually judge, to me, apart from an evident interest in the console from the Japanese market, hard to be clearly defined in terms of size/strength

You know a week is total crap when half the games of the Top 10 didn't even sell 5k.

Truly one of the slowest periods of the year right now, hurry up June.

Nintendo may be holding back some stock for ARMS, but there's also Splatoon 2 to think about, that game's launch is going to be huge and Nintendo probably really wants to make sure they have enough units for the launch of that game.

Arms is at June 16, that's when a bigger Switch restock will happen.

Ultra Street Fighter II and Seiken Densetsu Collection for the 3 weeks until then aren't reasons for shipments to change.

This is a supply issue, they misjudged the demand for the switch. (Along with most people)

It might take some time before they're able to increase production.

Strange thing is that supply is actually dropping compared to last month, though. Wonder what the reason for that could be.
