What game(s) are you currently addicted to?

jon bones

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
these threads always bum me out

i wish there was a game that i loved and really captured my interest for a long time

Honestly a game I thought I would hate. I disliked every souls games (tried them all multiple times), so I thought Bloodborne wouldn't be any different... A few hours later and I can't stop, when I'm not playing, I'm thinking about the roads full of enemies I slayed and how I did it, and the enemies ahead... completely unexpected.

I don't know if the magic will last, but I'm pretty happy right now, after killing father gascoigne, I felt a relief and satisfaction I hadn't felt in a game since the bosses in Metal Gear Rising on Hard.

EDIT: I still don't understand what 95% of the items and systems mean in the game, but damnnnnn.

I'm not "addicted" to it but Nier:Automata is the game I constantly play right now. I've got Injustice 2 wrapped up but I refuse to play it until I'm fully done with this game. Also Tekken 7 comes out at the end of next week so Injustice 2 might not get much shine from me until I'm burned out.

I haven't been truly addicted to a game since battlefield 3. Just haven't been so absorbed with a game since. I flit around between For Honour and Overwatch but they just don't scratch that itch.

Puzzle And Dragons

Seriously, I play it constantly, look up crap about it all the time, have spent more money on it than nearly any other game ever (definitely if you don't count console purchases) and still feel generally good about the experience. Part of it is that it fills parts of my life that would otherwise be somewhat gameless (notably busrides).

Also, I really like the GAF community around it.

I still play other stuff too, but, man, that game is taking up a lot of brain space for me.

Destiny... always the king in my book. But I'm getting back into Overwatch, and going to be continuing Zelda BotW during the lulls in my summer trip.

Yet I always seem to go back to Destiny even with Horizon and Persona 5 collecting dust.

Persona 5 really has it's hooks in me and I just started last weekend. It's my first persona game since 2 and I have to say the gameplay is really tight and got me thinking about it all day. I was a little put off be the anime highschool theme but I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Glad I tried it because it's really something else. Just a great dungeon dive.

Persona 5 has taken up quite a bit of head space for me...in a beginning of the year with excellent titles.

But the true addiction is Destiny. Its the only game I have ever come back to time and time again and I've been playing video games since the 80's.

None right now. I keep bouncing from game to game like a goddamn nomad. I want to go back through the Dead Space games (never finished 3), need to finish Zelda: BotW, started Persona 4 on Vita, want to buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the backlog is packed. So. Many. Games...

It's almost embarrassing, but currently, Puzzle and Dragons. An FTP phone game, I know.

After that Overwatch, and thanks to seasons finally being on consoles, Diablo III.

Currently playing Forza Horizon 3's latest expansion, but the last real addiction/obsession would have to have been Persona 5, and Breath of the Wild before that.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I bought God Eater 2 in the humble bundle. Realised it was a pile of shit but it made me appreciate how good MHFU was so I booted it back up on my Vita and have been putting in as much time as I can since.

Now that Persona 5 is over I'm relegated to playing older titles.
My current addiction is Alienation; Tank run and then Specialist.

A wicked little Metroidvania called Unepic. Picked it up completely on a whim and I'm having a ball with it - I wish more games like this were made.

I wouldn't say "addicted," but OverWatch has some serious staying power.

Sometimes just switching characters freshens things up as much as switching entire games would.

Rocket League since I bought it exactly a year ago. Best purchase I ever made from a bang for buck perspective. €12 during a Steam Sale and already 580 hours.

Anything Dark Souls, it takes up most of my gaming time. I am in the proces of playing the first one as we speak, as it is the only one I haven't beaten yet.

I'm currently a Persona 5 addict. 60h in, and soooo happy to have another 40+ to go - an unusual thing for me to say.

Thanks to the latest Fire Emblem release and that Fire Emblem phone game I'm playing a little bit of Fire Emblem at least every day.

Other than that some people I met through LINE got me back into wasting time in Minecraft and I've finally discovered the joys of online Pokemon battles (but only screwing around in the FFA Battle Royal mode)

None, but I redownloaded Rainbow Six Siege and have been jumping in a few matches a couple times a week. I should be playing more Persona 5 since I'm still not even done with the first dungeon, but it always feels like a big time commitment since I never know when I'll be able to save again.

The last of us Multiplayer. No matter which game comes out... I just always go back to it. Best MP exp for me.

FTL: Faster Than Light

It's too easy to just quickly launch the game and try one or two or three runs

After a long break, and thinking I was done with it, Diablo 3. Console seasons piqued my interest a bit a few weeks ago, and I thought I'd just jump on there quickly and see what all the hoopla was about. 3 weeks or so later, I haven't played anything else

Persona 5 even though I'm on NG+. I'm still loving it as much as my first playthrough. I should be playing other games in my backlog with this being secondary but I'm still having a hard time putting it down. Haven't even touched the new Fire Emblem for 3 days because P5 is just monopolizing my free time.

I flip between MK8D and OW depending on events or who's over or what I'm in the mood for.

I try to slowly chip away at my other games but the backlog grows and I can't find time to finish up horizon, Nier, ffxv, P5, etc. Etc.
