do you guys think fighting game sticks will be collectors items some day? I mean with high value for some of the rare sticks? or is it already at that stage (i'm clueless about this stuff)

Ah great thanks... The thing, is I dont like the bigger kind of sticks. The Persona seems to be the smallest out there that uses quality parts (Sanwa). And I dont feel like modding so...

Any hope for an upcoming sale on a Madcatz SE or better stick? Prefer 360 so I can easily dual mod. If not PS3 only for the moment.

Art's Hobbies sells nice acrylic cases for DIY projects in a variety of layouts, colors, and designs. There are also some specialist case makers on the SRK forums, but theirs tend to be pretty expensive and only available in limited quantities. Slagcoin also has a guide on making your own enclosures if you or someone you know has the necessary tools and expertise.

Mad Catz had a lot of sales during the Road to Evo majors this year, so maybe during one of the upcoming tournaments. Maybe Season's Beatings?

I currently have a Qanba Q4 which to get to me in Australia ended up costing a total of $228 from play-asia.

I have been wanting a second stick for a while for friends to use but I would really like to get the TTT2 stick when I can find it at an ok price and shipping to Australia, so I'm thinking of getting this cheapy to have laying around until that point. But if it's just going to feel like crap and break after a month or so then I won't bother.

I do understand its not going to be great. Just wondering if I am wasting my time though. :)

I've never even heard of that stick, but from my experience with the Mad Catz TVC stick (an SE stick), cheap sticks are a ripoff. Those buttons will probably start messing up within a week and the joystick is probably ass and you'll have to spend another $50 to get Sanwa parts anyway.

The absence of these stateside makes me so sad. The only reason I can't use a conventional fightstick is because the noise becomes a disturbance in my living quarters. If these were available in the US, I'd probably be the first in line to get one.

Actually, Japan misses out on more sticks than the US does. They've only had 2 exclusive sticks from Mad Catz. Cut them some slack ;)

We're testing it in that market there. It fits their living situation better. We'll let you know how it goes.

Silent is not the American way. Incoming MadCatz™ PLAY IT LOUD edition with louder than normal buttons and sticks.

I'm googling how-to's and parts sites now, but I'd appreciate any suggestions on sites or anything.

Absolute easiest (but not cheapest) method is the TE Kitty from Godlike Controls - installation requires only a screwdriver and a pair of scissors. Looks like it's out of stock at the moment though. (You should also specify which version of TE you have.)

So with Tekken Tag 2 Wii U Edition, has there been any news on arcade sticks for the system? Are Wii Classic Controller based sticks compatible?

Friend is looking to get a bat top for his arcade stick, what site (or sites I guess) are the ones to go to now? I used to go to lizard lick but I guess they don't exist or whatever.

I replaced the buttons and joystick on my TVC stick with Sanwa parts. It was my first time replacing all those parts. The hardest part was pushing the new buttons in. The whole process was pretty easy after watching some Youtube videos. I think it looks much better and it also feels much better. What do you guys think?

I will make a SF4 TE Round 2 fightstick artwork for a gaffer. Would a Round 1 template work fine for it? (Can't seem to find the Template around for Round2)
