Been getting them a lot the past few days here on Neogaf.

I've reported the ads (I think they're the correct ones), however, days laters, the problem is still occuring.

I'm not sure if it's everyone, or if my phone has malware.

Curious if anyone else is encountering these ads.

Nothing is worse than the windows security alert one which locks up the whole browser.. I have gotten pretty good at killing it off instantly though. Total boner killer though

download adblock for phone? i have it for iphone and i think it helps alot

My adblocker is off and I don't get any bad garbage (had "slowness" problem but it wasn't related), but that's on PC.

firefox has adblocking addons yes
if you have rooted android you can block ads with adaway

Another week has past and this is still a problem. I've been reporting the ads, but now it's even worse. It's happening a lot more frequently today.

Also, what happened to the avatars?

New version of chrome coming with built in blocking completely stops hi-jacking. Should be out soon hopefully.

I've had a username and password prompt come up on screen a few times (for some medical sounding site?), while browsing gaf recently. Weird.

I think it's to offset the # of people using adblockers which basically force the site to operate with no income.
