Welcome to Mangaf. We're here to discuss manga-related things. Please read the rules regarding spoilers below.

April 2017 Recommendation: Utsubora

Mystery drama | 2 volumes, Completed work, Licensed (sold as 1 volume in English)
Young author Aki Fujino appeared poised to making it big in the world of publishing. Her debut title UTSUBORA was being pitched about to a number of editors and at least one person felt it was set to propel her into stardom. However, before she could ever have her book published, the young woman was found dead. Some believe it was a suicide, but those close to her feel there is something more sinister involved in this young talent's death.

Aki's death has become something straight out of a mystery. Much like the story behind UTSUBORA, there is something more to Aki, Sakura and their relationship with an author named Mizorogi than meets the eye. And it is possible that the only way to solve this mystery may be to uncover all their secrets. (source)
survivor: Mystery thriller, but not told in a very straightforward manner so it makes it very entertaining to read, and makes it rereading it more fun to see few things I missed the first time.

Simple rules to follow so we can discuss our favorite manga easily:

1. Sort of guide to how you should post.
In bold, put the name of the series as the first line in your post. Then you can go ahead and discuss whatever is on your mind without tags, okay? Make sure there is a space between the bolded name of the series and your text. Here's an example:

Hunter X Hunter 505

It rules and I don't know why!

2. Regarding manga scanlations.

This includes manga releases, manga scanlations, sites and apps which provide such access, etc. STOP DOING IT. This thread is for the discussion of manga, not for the exchange and distribution of illegal material. Don't ask, don't tell. Future offenses will result in normal moderation consequences. Do not reply to this message, just move along. If you have a question, PM me.

So to repeat, DO NOT link to any manga scanlations websites or ask where to read manga.

If you post a panel or page, there should be no logo of any site on it.
3. Regarding spoilers in this thread.
We will discuss all the manga in one topic with no tags. If you don't want to be spoiled by the chapter as soon as the translation is out, do not come in here. Also, since we are not talking about the anime, you can mention new episodes without tags either since they are always behind or are filler. You should know well enough not to come in here not wanting to be spoiled. Please bold the header of your post as shown in rule 1 to help other posters avoid spoilers.

If you understand the content of the chapter you wish to discuss has significant spoilers for the series and wish to discuss without spoiler tags, and the chapter is a fresh (within 1 day) release, please add some additional detail to the bolded chapter title to indicate as such. Example:

Prison School 666 SUPER SPOILERS

I don't know what I could possibly spoil.

Exercise good judgement about spoilers.

Again, no spoiler tags for text needed, that is the benefit of coming here.

Caveats:
Leaks do not count as translation or scans. If a translation has not been released yet, spoiler tag any leaks and discussion of the chapter. Leaks should be sourced (a name/location at least, if a link is not possible).

Regarding image spoilers: "Please do not embed major spoiler images, ever."
4. I don't know what manga to read. Can you guys help?
Obviously the best way is to ask in the thread so we can give you recommendations that fit your taste better, but if you don't want to do then there are two excellent threads to check out for a list of good manga. Some good advice: don't ask for recommendations late Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you are a shounenhead and want your manga filled with hot blooded action then read cosmicblizzard's nifty thread of awesome battle manga.

If you prefer seinen manga or non-mainstream manga then read flawfuls thread of awesome lesser known manga.

If you want fluffy romance manga, NeoSoma has a chart of sweet and/or fluffy romance manga from /a/.

Other possibilities collected from this thread and link to a list of recommendations/impressions will be found in the second post below.
5. Reading manga on tablets.
If you are looking for manga-reading tech on tablets, Jintor suggests Mango and suko_32 has more details on his tablet setup.

WARNING: There may be spoilers in some of these recs (rec), reviews (rev), impressions (imp). If you want to avoid that, just post a general question about the manga. Most recent at top. Links to previous recommendations at bottom.

  1. [Imp] Dandte | Black Torch: Looks like i found my new shounen manga. Great art, great action, great comedy and the characters are all likeable. I have high hopes for this.
  2. [Long imp] Zweizer | Grand Blue: Here, diving itself is at times little more than an excuse for the authors to create the appropriate setting to let loose a colorful and likeable cast, involved in all maneers of antics as they live their youth, coupled with biting humor and awesome expressions.
  3. [Rev] A Huge Battleship | Madoka Magica - Towakano (SFW doujin): I don't really play favourites with Maitake works, but this is probably up there with Debikano as my most enjoyed.
  4. [Rev] A Huge Battleship | Turned into a Breast Milk Fountain by a Beautiful Vampire: This was an absolutely flawless conclusion, except for the fact that it means closing the book on the greatest yuri love story since... uh, probably the last Maitake doujin I read.
  5. [Rev] Zweizer | Hachishaku Hachiwa Keraku Meguri - Igyou Kaikitan: A series of horror stories as they're narrated by a wanderer seeking shelter from the rain and a taxi driver.
  6. [Rev] Zweizer | Munou no Hito: If you're tempted to look into something short and somber, look no further than Munou no Hito, and may you never meet the same fate as that man.
  7. [Short rev] Zweizer | Worst Goddess in the World (one shot): People are generally not as admirable as they may seem.
  8. [Imp] Semblance | Hungry Marie: lol this shit is my jam. I mean, we're dealing with Marie Antoinette's gender-bender daughter going on some super saiyan necromancy freakout because her lunch got snatched. I can't not appreciate something like that. Please don't get canned.
  9. [Imp] A Huge Battleship | Goblin is Very Strong: The wacky adventures of a lv 99 goblin who specialises in killing heroes.
  10. [Rev] Zweizer | The Private Report on My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness: The style of storytelling is pretty short and concise, yet every panel is relatable, filled with the thoughts of the protagonist, and by extension, the author. Also endorsed by cntr.
  11. [Rec] Shouta | Orenji Yane no Chiisana Ie: Two families end up buying the same house when a real estate scams them both. That guy then decides to make a run for it leaving the families high and dry.. So they decide to move in together and to make the best of a bad situation.
  12. [Long imp] Semblance | Wave, Listen to Me!: Her boyfriend not only left her but ran off with some of her money, see, and some stranger who says he works at a radio station has offered to lend an ear, so she unloads all her problems on him while chugging away.
  13. [Imp] mellow | Bartender: I like how the premise is mostly just a backdrop for it to tell heartwarming stories and valuable life lessons.
  14. [Rec] OniBarubary | Beastars: The world is full of anthropomorphized animals and despite their educated and evolved intelligence and sensibilities there still exists a social and cultural divide between carnivore and herbivore: predator and prey.
  15. [Imp] Zweizer | Catulus: Pretty cute start, and rife with cudliness~
  16. [Imp] A Huge Battleship | Starting Gate -Horsegirl Pretty Derby-: A typical cute girls doing cute things manga, except the cute girls are horses.
  17. [Imp] mdubs | Beck: I like the story overall and it's getting more consistent now...
  18. [Rev] Taruranto | Yuureitou: That was... certainly an unique manga. When it was good, it was really good. When it was bad, it kinda was kinda cringey. But at least it was unique and really different from most stuff I read.
  19. [Rev] MetroidPrimeRib | Junji Ito's Tomie: Its unclear what or who Tomie is. A vengeful ghost, a demon, a succubus, a playful trickster god.
  20. OniBarubary's recommendations wall of text
  21. [Imp] MetroidPrimeRib | Rokudou no Onna-tachi: Instead of being a horndog and it turning into a gropefest, the MC decides he can try and turn the school around and make a general positive change.
  22. [Short rec] Black Bishop | Cigarette Anthology MENTHOL: I'd highly recommend the collection, just for the varying art styles and stories in it.
  23. [Imp] OniBarubary | Hoshino me Tsubutte: They've pretty much already overcome the premise of the series as it was never something that could've realistically lasted or remained entertaining and instead maneuvered it into being somewhat like SNAFU where it begins to deal with the intricacies, hypocrisies and wants of teenage social relationships.
  24. [Imp] Black Bishop | Acca - 13-Ku Kansatsuka: It's a great bit of suspense drama that has a really interesting world built around it.
  25. [Imp] OniBarubary | Asahinagu: Just a sorta laid back girls club type series.
  26. [Short rev] A Huge Battleship | Madoka Magica - Ultikano / Majokano (SFW doujin): Her humour is always on point and the little sprinklings of seriousness help to break up the comedy and keep things fresh. More doujin reading from AHB.
  27. [Rev] Dedication Through Light | Abarenbo Honey + Kakurenbo Honey: As probably my first manga in the omegaverse world I thought it was much better than the omegaverse 101 in the beginning of the manga implied.
  28. [Rev] Boogiepop | Sekai no Hate de Aimashou: But yeah, overall I'd say I definitely enjoyed it, and would recommend it if you're looking for this sort of thing... but I'm not so sure I'd give it the nod 100% otherwise.
  29. [Imp] OniBarubary | Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumeishitemita: 2 post-grads in the science department work together and are total science jerks but then the girl confesses to the guy and needs to prove through science that what she feels is love.
  30. [:/] Zweizer | The Yuri You Can’t Get Without Sex (one shot): Lots of great lines in this. Shame there actually wasn't any sex.
  31. [Rev] Turin Turambar | Phoenix: The last one, Dawn, was pretty good, how it mixes both the past story and the future story bit a bit in the same arc.
  32. [Imp] mdubs | Skyclaw (one shot): This was rough but quite interesting. It's very tropey, but the setting is cool and works. Apparently the mangaka is only 17, so I expect that with some refining we'll eventually see this serialized in time.
  33. [Rev] OniBarubary | Nude Model (one shot): A story about this guy in a band of deliquents who gets dared to sleep with an art girl who is always drawing and alone in the art room.
  34. [Imp] Zweizer | Downfall: New series by Inio Asano, starring a manga artist facing a midlife crisis. I wonder how much of it draws parallels with Asano himself.
  35. [Imp] upandaway | Arte: First chapter was really nice, I'm digging the setup with the contrasting childhoods a lot and the art's great.
  36. [Rev] Droplet | Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice): That was good. I didn't think there needed to be romantic closure for any of the characters when the story felt less about that and more about Ishida reconciling his past and learning how to deal with others in the face of it.
  37. [Imp] 4 is a cutie | Cestvs: In Rome, a lil' cute boy is a slave who's forced to box for the amusement of the rich and powerful.
  38. [Short rev] mellow | Imawa no Kuni no Alice: when I randomly picked this up a few months ago I didn't expect it to end up as one of my favorite manga
  39. [Imp] GoldCrusader | Ace of Diamond: The way they illustrate the action in the sport is outstanding. The picthing panels are so full of emotions.
  40. [Imp] Fancolors | Promised Neverland: Couldn't stop reading and now I demand more.
  41. [Rev] A Huge Battleship | Touhou - Amanozako (SFW doujin): The slightly opaque translation aside, I enjoyed this variation on the ULiL rumour manifestation concept, as well as seeing the two trolls work their magic to varying degrees.
  42. [Short rev] Lain | Alice In Borderland: Overall it was a damn good story and conclusion.
  43. [Short imp] upandaway | Helck: Demons being the good guys isn't really that unique of a setting but it's actually been a while since I've seen it.
  44. [Imp] SenorArdilla | Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru: Interesting premise. It's always interesting to see how someone is going to twist the concept of two individuals finding out that they're on opposite sides.
  45. [Rev] A Huge Battleship | Scandal (one shot): Idols and yuri, in that order. It's the author's debut work so some of the writing feels a little rough, but I heartily approve of the direction it took, even if it was predictable. And let's face it, the pair's trust issues meant they were bound to separate sooner or later anyway.
  46. [Imp] Stone Ocean | Zui Wu Dao: This is like a chimera of every Jump series ever with kung fu on top and I kind of really fucking like it?
  47. [Imp] Zweizer | Rokudou no Onna-tachi: He receives a mysterious package from his dead grandfather which grants him the power to fights monsters. That is, the power to charm all the bad girls.
  48. [Rev] Gold Crusader | WaqWaq: The character design for both robot and humans are pretty cool and I loved(mostly) all of the fusions with the Gojin-zou.
  49. [Short rev] Droplet | Josou Danshi to Menhera Oji-san: A seemingly perfect high school boy who cross-dresses enters a relationship with a depressed working man.
  50. [Long Imp] SenorArdilla | Hatsukoi Body: (let the text speak for itself)
  51. [Imp] Fbh | Dr. Stone: Fun first chapter with an interesting setup and pretty good art.
  52. [Imp] mdubs | House of the Sun: I enjoyed this volume quite a bit.
  53. [Rev] ubique | Gunnm: Anyway it did consistently have some cool body horror/gore panels that I appreciated and that often came outta nowhere. In that sense it didn't disappoint me
  54. [Rev?] Black Bishop | Pumpkin Scissors: Overall I feel this is a great start to the manga, setting the world, solidifying character roles and giving us an interesting story to begin to uncover. (spoiler tags abound)
  55. [Imp] Numb | Kimetsu no Yaiba: Been a minute since last i enjoyed a shonen..if you could call this that with how much blood is in
  56. [Rev] Boogiepop | Karakuri Circus: Ultimately, I'd say it's probably the weakest of Fujita's three long form series, but that's also because it felt like it was kind of the most ambitious.
  57. [Rev] A Huge Battleship | The Black Museum: The Ghost and the Lady: I think much of my enjoyment came from the quasi-educational exploration of elements of British history that I (shamefully) knew little about, particularly the Crimean War and the specifics of Miss Nightingale's accomplishments.
  58. [Imp] Zweizer | Our Journey to Lesbian Motherhood: Oh yeah, this has real potential. Quick reminder that same-sex marriage still isn't legal in Japan (and most Asian nations), so child conception is an even tougher topic to bring up.
  59. [Short imp] Peco | Koi wa Amaagari no You ni: Still, the art is sweet and some side characters are interesting and have a lot of room for further development.
  60. [Long imp] FlowersisBritish | Hungry Marie: You lied to me. Hungry Marie was great. I knew it would be funny and for the most part all of the jokes really hit home for me.
  61. [Rev] GoldCrusader | Ruroni Kenshin: So this was nice! I actually really liked the after Kyoto arc.
  62. [Imp] Lain | Siúil, a Rún - The Girl from the Other Side: Speaking of imagery, the art is quite evocative. It's something I'd describe as both simple and detailed at the same time.
  63. [Short imp] Peco | Insect Detective Yoshida Yoshimi: A private eye who can talk to animals specialized in insect cases.
  64. [Imp] GoldCrusader | Poro's Diaries: The few actions scenes we had were TREMENDOUS! The COMEDY was GOLD!
  65. [Imp] Black Bishop | Natsunokumo: If you're into Video games, Sci-fi and Psychology I'd give it a look in, just for how the first arc is dealt with on it's own.
  66. [Imp] OniBarubary | Daidai wa, Hantoumei ni Nidone Suru: I love this dude's stuff.
  67. [Imp] OniBarubary | Happiness: (spoilers) Yeah, Happiness has been running on all cylinders the past couple chapters.
  68. [Imp] MetroidPrimeRib | Wombs: Essentially, all women combat units have alien(?) creatures implanted into their wombs so that they can access some kind of parallel dimension using their power...
  69. [Imp] Shouta | Gate ~Jietai Kanochi Kakutatakeri: A lot of the major story beats are in for sure but I'm enjoying the additional work they're doing to flesh it out.
  70. [Short imp] Numb | Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san: Just an innocent crush story with a chick with the strongest poker face ever
  71. [Short rev] Zweizer | Yuri Otaku Family (oneshot): Pretty fun short story, and their various reactions are amusing.
  72. [Short imp] A Huge Battleship | Tongari Boushi no Atelier: Followed for the cosy fantasy art, the wizardry intrigue and the setting's slightly unusual take on magic.
  73. [Short imp] Numb | Origin and Blades of the Guardians: Got your good fights, good art,gangs,stupid/hilarious MC,everyone being a model etc etc
  74. [Imp + Rev] OniBarubary | Jagaaaaan! and Undead Police Zondetta (oneshot): I wish this wasn't a one-shot and the picture quality was a little better because sometimes the action got muddled.
  75. [Imp] Turin Turambar | Ichigeki: Jiro Matsumoto doing historical samurai at the end of Edo period? Interesting.
  76. [Imp] Tripon | Astra Lost in Space: A group of 9 students are randomly selected to become part of a camping trip. At the start of the trip, something quickly goes wrong...
  77. [Imp] The Blacks | Epic of Gilgamesh: Hot blooded lady Knight rescues old dude who was in danger on a cliff. Turns out he was immortal and didn't need her help and just wants to be left alone and continue depressing over stuff.
  78. [Long rev] Black Bishop | Ballroom e Youkouso: It's the progression of excitement and the focal point of that excitement, something that the writing of this manga does to perfection.
  79. [Rev] Black Bishop | Kurenai No Ansatsusha (oneshot): For the most part it's a pretty standard Action, Adventure One shot, but has some odd moments of Gender bending about half way through the manga.
  80. [Imp] The Blacks | Saiki Kusuo no Sainan: Usually not a fan of gag manga but this one was pretty funny.
  81. [Long imp] Lain | Levius: In a steampunk/cyberpunk world, people compete in mechanical boxing.
  82. [Rev] Black Bishop | Unlucky Boy Undead Girl (oneshot): It is centered around the odd couple of a Female Zombie and her Immortal (yet extremely unlucky) Boyfriend. And basically tells the story of how they come to be an item.
  83. [Rev] Black Bishop | Skyaway's (oneshot): The art is quite rough and often sparse at times, but it still manages to convey great fluidity to the motions of the characters, as they dash about the rooftops.
  84. [Imp] Lain | Chinpotsuki! Ijimerarekko: I've seen the events unfolding before and now I see them unfolding complete with understandable text and I still ask myself why?
  85. [Imp] OniBarubary | We Can't Study!: (at bottom) Nothing about this really stood out too much, and the premise is kinda whatever, but the execution is alright and the art is fine so...I guess I'll follow it til it gets axed if it doesn't start doing anything interesting. (a buttload of impressions on the posts that follow this one in the thread)
  86. Zweizer with some short NSFW stuff.
  87. [Short rev] mdubs | Genkaku Picasso: I could see parts of the ending coming from far away but it still got me. A nice read at 3 volumes long.
  88. [Imp] Black Bishop | Teen Mom: Deals with some pretty deep and meaningful topics while also managing to be funny and lighthearted at moments.
  89. [Imp] Black Bishop | Somali To Mori No Kami-sama: This fantasy world sort of takes the idea of Humans becoming an endangered species after being hunted down by monsters out for a spin, interjecting moments of suspense along with enjoyable 'father' 'daughter' bonding moments that are really touching.
  90. [Middle rev] Coriolanus | Wolfsmund: Not so here, where both heroes and villains die like dogs, and, most important, make serious strategic mistakes often.
  91. Link to recommendations and impressions from threads OTL(8) to OTC(17).

That is the true reason I've dropped HxH forever. Between Berserk and Vagabond, there is only so much room in my heart for series that might outlive me...

Grand Blue 25 + 25.5

I think the "friends" chapters are my least favorite of this manga; not to say they don't make me laugh, but for a manga that generally does a good job avoiding tropes or having unique set-ups into resolutions, it plays the "all his friends are shit" straight like every other manga that does it and it's never actually funny because it always gets in the way of progress or better jokes, meaning it's at best frustrating and at worst insufferable.

I hate the fucking friends and find Iori's interactions with literally every other character in the manga much more redeeming. I do like them building Kouhei and the Seiyuu's stuff soon and I'm still eternally miffed that Iori's like "Yo Imma go flirt with these girls" in front of Azusa when he should really just go for her with serious intent instead of the random hook-up he was almost provided. Much as I love Chiori and much as that's totally the canon pairing, his relationship with Azusa is so great (also cause Azusa is far and away the best character).

Also, the little sister chapter was awesome. That's gonna come back to haunt him.

Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki 27

Nothing happened. Like, seriously. Introduce two elves and still most of the chapter was just the MMO guys saying a bunch of cryptic nonsense. Boring.

Yakumo-san wa Edzuke ga Shitai. 13

Dude's starting to recognize that he's constantly spending alone time with a hot widow. At least since he always thinks about baseball it'll help him later in this story's development.

Demi-chan wa Kataritai 26

Her wanting to become a scientist is a really good development. I really like how she figured that out.

Gantz: G 16

Why do I read this?

You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead 7

Man, this manga really is like reading Drifting Classroom or some old 70s horror manga. I love the style and the "there is no resolution, shit happens" style of storytelling that's reminiscent of Junji Ito's storytelling. The twist was really nice and I love the tone of this series. It's really good. I might do a bigger write-up for this and draw the comparisons out with it's influences. It's just nice to see a horror manga that isn't the current style cause I'm not a huge fan of most horror manga nowadays.

Fudatsuki no Kyoko-chan 18

Enjoyed the differing usage of the title between the different characters and I really am liking Iwahara more than I did before mainly because she doesn't react like a normal character in a romcom; she didn't blink at Kenji saying people thought they were dating and she immediately goes to Hibino and tells her straight out to clear up the misunderstanding. More people in manga need to act like that.

...even if it did cause more misunderstandings. At least they cleared it up in a couple pages. Ughh is right, Kyoko-chan.

Kako and the False Detective 1a

This series is pretty good! I enjoyed Princess Resurrection even with it's problems so it's nice to see a series by the same dude. We'll never have a girl as good as Riza again but Kako is a nice replacement. I do enjoy that he's actually not super smart or anything, he just has a huge cheat guide which gave him his boy detective name.

Helk 88 This was a pretty slow chapter but HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT STINGER!

Sesuji wo Pin! 78 As this continues, I actually think Sakamoto might be my favorite manga antagonist of all time. He just oozes such damn charisma and he's so god damn good at what he does but not in an obnoxious way. And all the time he's throwing everyone off with his antics because that's just the kind of dude he is.

Yesterday I bought Satoshi Kon's Opus. Looking forward to sitting down with it later today. I forget the name of his other one I have, about a seaside town, but I really enjoyed the laid-back pace of it. I hope this is like that as well.

I like Ballroom e Youkoso a lot but if I'm honest, I really do like Sesuji wo Pin more. Sakamoto makes for such a great antagonist because this is a manga about ballroom dancing; he's not a jerk or some evil, "NO FUN IN DANCING" idiot, he's just REALLY good and wants everyone to love ballroom dancing and do the best they can do. So he constantly draws people into his own pace, gets them to do better...and then beats them completely because he's just that good. That's what makes him so great.

Well that would at least make an interesting situation but I can't trust any Japanese mangaka to tackle the subject in a thoughtful fashion. Also, brown paper bags as masks are always funny.

I say that but there's got to be at least a couple Arabic novels/movies where the MC is infatuated with a girl like this.

Also, as always, thanks dramatis for the huge recs/imps posts.

Seems a lot of my predictions are coming true for the end of the tourney arc. The MA is trying to turn powerful but corruptible humans into even more powerful and fucked up monsters. Saitama is just fucking around with Shoiryu who is indeed pretty powerful all things considered but nothing against a hip check from Saitama. Now I'm guessing Saitama stands off to the side while all the remaining martial artists take on the Crow monsters and the Dragon Class who just showed up. Maybe they even win and impress Saitama with their martial arts.

Hmm, I suppose the one thing I don't get is...Saitama could have kept his wig on and won the prize...just by beating down on Shiryu...I know in ONE's version he takes a lot of attacks from Tatsumaki and doesnn't respond But usually if a guy is coming at him, he will just smack him upside the head. Especially after Shiryu going at him as much as he did. Still I am fine with how it played out, and Shiryu got what was coming to him, even if what came to him was the prize money and all the plaudits...haha

Saitama doesn't really seem to hurt human's even when they deserve it in many cases. Even when he beat the Tank Top Brothers up it seemed like he thought he pushed it a bit far since he thought they'd be a lot stronger.

All Out: Caught the beginning of the anime and decided to pick up the manga as a scanlation site had picked it up. While the art style is not for everyone it does have a certain charm. Love the action and motion of the Rugby games as well as how well it manages to convey the rules and tactics behind the game. It often reminds me of a grittier, more realistic, rugby version of Eyeshield 21. Not saying that it's as good as that but if you enjoyed Eyeshield 21 you may enjoy this.

Ippo: I'm liking the fact we seem to be getting some actual progress back into this manga. Not much mind you.. but it's there. Though I feel the first new fight Ippo has could be over in a single panel.

Red Raven: "When the Raven starts to sing, people die." In an unstable world, a weak government, uses contracted 'lawful' killers in order to reduce unpunished crimes committed by the mafia. It's a nice little title with interesting characters and weapons, similar to Trigun in that respect. We also have super powered weapons made by the mad 'Scaggs' clan who have delved into human experimentation more than once to spice it up. It's an action shounen so don't expect it to be too deep but nevertheless it's a fun read.

Ubel Blatt: I guess this will tide me over till Berserk resumes (whenever that is...)

Honestly I SHOULD love this manga. Lifting weights? Delicous brown girl? Slight chub?

Problem is its just not that funny. And its filled with so much fitness and nutrition pseudoscience. Most egregiously an intermittent fasting type diet (which has been proven to increase many health factors and is a great way to lose weight) is called "the kind of diet sumo wrestlers use to gain weight"

No? EDIT: Apparently this is actually true?
