I often get the feeling she's more attached to Rose than Steven if you catch my drift.

I wonder if now we know about Ruby and Sapphire, if they will hang about separate now a bit or if Garnet just likes being together too much as one to ever change I would love to learn about their separate personalities a bit more, what makes the two sides of Garnet really tick.
Well, you asked for it.oh thank God, this page clear of MLP. I was going to puke. Infestation alert.
MLP is the new rule 34, or "X the hedgehog" game

We get the point, no need to keep posting MLP.
I think they mentioned somewhere about how Ruby and Sapphire were originally gonna formally introduce themselves to Steven earlier before stuff started happening. I'm guessing we'll have episodes that show off their personalities and why they decided to stay fused for so long.

Do you want to keep going? Let's start with a simple web search of "My Little Pony." First page has hasbro's official sites, wikipedia, Equestria Daily (nonpornographic), and a facebook group. Second page has ToysRUs, IMDB, Android Apps, wikia, a new story from variety, a reddit account, a know your meme page, and a reddit community (again, non-pornographic). I do get this from a compilation of gifs on the fifth page
Our kids exposed to lesbian shipping! THE HORROR
No pornographic results in the first ten pages. I'll challenge any of these crocodile-tear spouting bigots to give me just one plausible scenario where a kid accidentally runs across porn with purely innocent search terms. IT wouldn't surprise me if one does exist, but you're going to have to work to find it, which somewhat proves me point
Yeah they were going to surprise him for his birthday.
You can watch Cartoon Network shows on their website, or through their Watch CN app on iOS and Android (and Kindle/Amazon).Well, one fandom embraced me with open arms. The other slammed the door in my face after giving me the middle finger. Guess which one is which?
Well, a shitty fandom never stopped me from enjoying the source material. Are there any legal ways of streaming SU? Does Cartoon Central have an app at all?
It also put a bunch of her flip outs and her apprehension with humans into context as well.
Someday maybe she'll learn the intricacies of human relationshipsHer discomfort with humanity is funny isn't it. After 6000 some years, you'd think she'd have a better understanding of them.

Makes sense when she's so reluctant to interact with humans. Her discomfort with humanity is funny isn't it. After 6000 some years, you'd think she'd have a better understanding of them.
Amethyst buys food at the fry shop and had a stint as an underground wrestler, so she's not quite as distant as the others. Plus, she's the one who spent the most time with Greg before Rose passed away. You guys make a good point,, seems like the Crystal Gems are only really protecting earth in honor of Rose and don't really care for humans that much. We had the episode they were forced to interact with the family and had that sweet beach party, but besides that they don't really make an effort outside of doing it for Steven.
Personally, I get the impression that Garnet cares about Earth - at least in an abstract, moral sense - but is stoic on the outside. We literally don't get to see the real dialog going on between Ruby and Sapphire. Perhaps in the future there will be a peak at what Garnet is really "thinking" all the time.
Pearl is the person who really must be doing it for Rose, from pure sense of duty. Pearl actively regards human things as trite. ("Didn't you used to be hunter gatherers? Whatever happened to that?") Humans are beneath her unless she needs something from them, like parts for a device.
Though I wonder if raising Steven will instill the gems with more respect for the planet and humanity. Steven isn't like them. It's more than just being born on Earth. He sees value in all beings and all things, without needing a reason to. In fact, it may be one of his defining traits.

I can't think of some age that would be significant but also plausible. Like, what's the big difference between 10,11,12? He isn't 16 so I don't see why it'd be heavily guarded.
...You're suggesting that Steven may be a lot older than we assume he is?The stuff about Greg being so privy to the Gem war.
We actually don't know Steven's age. Apparently it's a guarded secret among the Crewniverse, for spoiler reasons.
Very curious.

Huh interesting. I wonder why that is?
Then again with the "So Many Birthdays" he's seems to have the ability to control how he ages.
Time seems to be passing in the series so it stands to reason that we will get to Steven's Birthday eventually. Wonder what present Garnet will get him nowI love that the reason they're keeping Steven's age a secret isn't because of some plot or story element, but because of a gag. I can't wait!
