This is just a jab at Ryan because this is all an embarrassment to Trump. He couldn't fucking care less what the bill looks like, Trump just desperately wants to repeal Obamacare.

I doubt this is accurate, but Trump is kinda weird in that he just wants to win and doesn't care how he gets there. If he's serious about HC in his first term he could, honestly, seek dem help.

Trump is trying to play chess with a board full of checkers pieces.
Trump has already said he's not going to pursue another healthcare bill. If they try again they need to make a bill that pleases the Ryanists, freedom caucus, and the moderates, which is basically impossible. If they couldn't do it now there's really no way they can do it later.
