But I liked December.
I am fine with the new date. It was always a big hassle to not have christmas parties with the company at the time the movie started. The boyfriend of my cousin got fired because he didnt went to the party but watched TFA with us instead *lol*

Looking over it, I saw that it was signed by someone named Harley Copic.

Looks like it was a poster sold for coloring purposes, which explains why the Star Wars logo is rainbow-fied. It's kinda interesting knowing that some nerdy Star Wars kid colored this in in 1977. Really cool.

The Star Wars universe is prejudiced towards droids. There's a lot of weird intentional subtext and some crazy pseudo-lore on it.

I was thinking this as well. If not story related, it would be for marketing purposes. A helmeted villain sells. Maybe he's slowly just becoming Darth Vader. It appears he has a new outfit, so maybe in the next one he'll have a new helmet thats more reminiscent of Vader.
The former makes more sense to me, given the context in the film. "We don't serve their kind" seems a lot more like prejudice than a literal statement
Droid took their jerbs. Before he was a bartender, that guy was a master of etiquette and protocol.

I thought it was a callback to the Clone Wars as the separatist army was mostly droids.
Could be that, and also that fact that they don't have anything to serve the droids anyways so as mentioned before, they'd just be taking up space.

Is it likely Lucasfilm/Disney will ever do a complete Clone Wars set?
The movie is out of production, and you can only buy seasons 1-5 in a set, with "Season 6" The Lost Missions separate.
Really seems like there should be a new boxset of everything. Seems odd that the movie is canon and yet is very difficult to come by if you actually want it on disc.

It seems unlikely at this stage. I just bought the box set and imported The Lost Missions as it was never made available in the UK for some reason.
Think I might have to do the same. I managed to get the movie for £8 on eBay the other day mint with slipcover.

It's definitely my favourite of Rey's costumes. Kylo's new cape is an upgrade too.

It would be fucking astounding if Disney did a DMA style digital collection app/site for Star Wars. Like an interface where you could buy (audio)books, comics, movies, shows, games, and everything else and just have them available on all your various devices.
Many people are expecting a time skip at some point in the movie.
Yeah, where did Luke get that black RotJ outfit from? Did Yoda enjoy sewing? It is a noble trait!
