i don't think they ever sold any amazon gift cards outside of the kindle ones and those went away when target stopped carrying kindles

Sorry for the necrobump, but i wanted to let everyone know that using the target credit online for visa gift cards works just fine, i received my 200+ in visa gift cards in the mail already. Now to figure out how to turn them into cash.

They are cash now.
If you just wanted money in your actual bank account you should have used one if the many Gift Card conversion sites to get a physical check or Paypal deposit. The fee would have been just a little more than the Visa cards.
