No emails either on my UK account or Canada account. Really wanted to play BF:BC2 with my bro. :(

Everyone else should be rewarded with free copies of the superior Battlefield 2142.

I have. No email here, and nothing in the spam filter (which I regularly check).

I've bought a couple through Origin and I didn't get it either. It's more likely that they're filtering the emails out slowly so their servers don't get slammed all at once.

Always wanted to try Spore but have seen a lot of negative press. I could get the superior version of Bad Company 2 finally. Is the multiplayer still going strong?

Hmm, I also wonder what the requirements are. I have origin, but I've never bought a game through it. I have Dead Space 2 in my origin library, but I got it through Steam.

Looking back on the hype it got now it's just hilarious. It was billed as some massive game changer just because Wright was working on it.

You build up your custom made species through mini games until it's advanced enough to go to space and then repeat missions over and over up there.

Google fu skills say this have been like this for months and EA never fixed it... ugh... any way around this fucking bullshit?

I have an account with ME2 on it, but I haven't gotten an email. I'm only interested in DA:O, but with the fiasco with DA2 my want to play it is a bit dampened.

No, you can't. But you can get Dead Space 2 from Amazon when it's cheap and redeem it on Origin (that's what I did).

I have both DS on Origin and I haven't played any of them.

Out of curiosity I checked and the Steam price for Spore is 19.99, same as the origin price. Didn't check the other games but I'm sure theyre all the same.

So I guess Steam has "rip off prices" too, by your definition.

I created an alt origin account 1 month ago for the sole purpose of the 25% off birthday coupon. That account got a free origin game email just right now.

I suggest you wait.

Yeah, I'm starting to build my Steam library and I'm not happy with EA having my favorite IP from this gen, fuck that bullshit.

The diffrence with Origin is 100% of their titles are price gouged as opposed to the 2% on Steam. Also you didn't look it up correctly Spore is $49.99 here not $19.99 hence why i said its a ripoff.

That's a weird thing to drive you nuts lol. We clearly know what they mean, sure it may have just been a rebranding to some, but they clearly don't see it that way.

Anyways, since Spore doesn't look that good and I have the other two, I'll happily give my promo code to anyone that wants it.

Not that I really care about those games (I already have DA and BC2) but for some reasons, I never receive any of the promo emails from Origin. It's been like that since before BF3 came out. There must be a bug somewhere in my profile.

Same here. I had an account with EA before it was called Origin (for ME2) and whenever I go to Origin, I use that same e-mail and password so I'm pretty sure I'm an Origin member. If so, I have been for a couple of years, at least.

If I download DA:O on this crappy netbook, is there any way I'll be able to somehow transfer or re-download it on to my PC (when I get a monitor for that) or am I screwed with the DRM?

I guess I'll go with Dragon Age since everyone seems really down on Spore, already played through it before on Xbox so it'll be nice to have the superior version.
