This is the part of the thread I hate.
Season 4 is fantastic, definitely in my top 5 seasons of the Simpsons.I just started a full Simpsons marathon a few days ago and I am now up to season 4 and I really was not aware that I never saw the Mr. Plow episode before... I didnt knew that this was possible

There will undoubtedly be some on eBay. That's how I've landed Comic-Con exclusive Simpsons merch in the past.
Incidentally, the big announcement coming out of today's Simpsons panel... outside of news about future episodes which I will save for the annual season OT... is that the Simpsons is coming BACK to DVD (and presumably BluRay).

I just rewatched "You Only Move Twice" and there are a few thoughts that came to my mind:
- Globex Corporation reminds me of Apple
- Hank Skorpion reminds me of Steve Jobs
- The episode was released in 1996 and at the end of the episode Homer gets gifted the Denver Broncos (when he actually wanted the Dallas Cowboys) and thinks that they are not good. The Denver Broncos then won the Super Bowl in 1997 and 1998.

I am also on a rewatch currently and just reached Who Shot Mr. Burns and the decline was already noticable in the last few episodes.
Nah.
There have been some duds, but overall, the show has improved since the movie.

It's fine for something like this, but this reminds me of a pet peeve I have with modern Simpsons - every time they do a retro throwback, it's always in the style of the Ullman shorts, as if the "golden age" of Simpsons was Dan doing his Walter Matthau voice talking about frosty chocolate milkshakes.Here is this year's San Diego Comic-Con poster... celebrating 30 years of the Simpsons being on television:

The good news... every episode of The Simpsons has now been made available digitally through Amazon, YouTube and other digital media marketplaces. Episodes can be purchased individually or in entire seasons.
The bad news... as best as I can tell, all of these episodes have been cropped and stretched to their remastered, widescreen formats to mirror how they're presented via Simpsons World as opposed to their original 4:3 standard with the entire image intact.

Along with the digital overhaul, the official season art has been overhauled to potentially correspond with a future re-issue of the entire series. Seasons 11-18 mirror their existing/future DVD set releases. Seasons 6-10 remain linked to the same Simpson family members but with new art. Seasons 1-5 have been overhauled as have the digital logos for Seasons 20-28.

Do they even have the ability to enhance the original prints at this point? Some of the ones on Simpsons World if I recall are from syndication tapes.
