Maybe give it more than a match or two?
Yeah, this is an easy skip for me.
Not something I'm going to enjoy long term
Quick thoughts after 20 minutes: game looks really good in handheld mode, and is fun but playing without motion control I feel like I'm at a huge advantage? I've been shitting on people for 6 matches straight and I'm not really good, I do a lot of jump and dashes, mixing up some punches and that gets me to victory pretty easily. Maybe motion control is at a huge disadvantage for now.
I would bet imagining you're playing a twin joystick game and it becomes easier to adapt to it.Movement of your character and the punches both being tied to motion is what's making this jarring for me.
10-0 so far
There's already been tournamentsIt's fun. Is it competitive? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Ah yup, the classic Nintendo test dog shit.
Seriously, after all this time, its still just for one hour.
One hour spent disconnecting over and over.
Early impressions I'm with you. Gameplay actually is super shallow as fuck. It is a fun quick session type game though.
Motion?
All I'm looking for is someone to tell me motion controls don't give an advantage.
Same, I got bored pretty fast. Damn. :/Early impressions say in with you. Gameplay actually is super shallow as fuck.
Pit the joy cons in the grip or use a pro controller. How do I turn off this motion control shit?
