No idea, I only played MP in Halo 1, and I owned Killzone 3. Most likely Killzone won't fill that Halo spot. Are you seriously considering skipping out on Halo next? Xbox One looks good outside of the way they have apps behind Live Gold.

We have seen the less powerfull system win the last two generations with the PS2 and the 360 in their respective generations. The cheaper price often lead to a larger userbase, and it lead to developers developing for them as the lead sku. What we have never seen however is the more powerfull sku priced at $100 LESS than their competition. So we are now possibly in the position of seeing the more powerfull console being the lead sku, and in a position where the devs will actually take advantage of the power difference, leading to a larger difference in multiplat versions than we saw last gen.

I said it on Twitter but saying you have both systems pre-ordered doesn't automatically make your next sentence any more believable. You've been clearly pro Xbone since you arrived.

And if you do have eyes, you'd see Infamous and Killzone being leaps and bounds over everything.

No, I'm really not. It's a very vague statement. This is not a case of 'the RAM performs 50%' faster, or even 'the processor performs 50% faster', just 'this system, in it's entirety, performs 50% faster than this other system'. So, you tell me what that means. PM me, if you'd like.

I mean I agree, but it's not like Xbox One is going to get completely nerfed versions of games as a result. They might be the inferior ports, but unless Sony just absolutely dominates, this inferiority won't be the end of the world for them.

Completely different games, though weirdly Halo 4 is a bit more like Killzone. Halo has the better story and sand boxy gameplay, a bit less serious and more flamboyant with its characters and worlds. Killzone is more gritty and tactile, has more fierce gunplay, more geared towards gun porn and kill satisfaction. Think Battlefield but harsher, more brutal, with more weight and set in an alien futuristic setting.

Both are brilliant in their own way.

Should be known that KZ SF is aiming to have more open ended campaign and levels.

Brand name means shit in the gaming space really. Look: the people that went from SNES -> PS1, and the people that went from PS2 -> Wii or 360.

Of course it doesn't matter for Call of Duty. Ghosts doesn't look an ounce next-gen to me.

I gotta chime in here. Looooong time Halo fan admittedly, but besides KZ2's multiplayer which I thought was excellent, I really can't see any sane person arguing that KZ comes close to touching the Halo franchise overall.
