Its the fact that the models look exactly the same with little to no updates. At least they could have tried to use Chris' RE6 appearance instead of RE5. Its extremely jarring to look it when you have characters like jedah and ms marvel that look decent while older characters like dante and chun look like shit and were ripped from their previous game.
Its a valid complaint when you look at how few new ones we are getting. Its like a Guilty Gear release at this point.

They really should have just done character trailers to hype up the game. How do you miss doing one for spiderman when spiderman homecoming barely had came out? The marketing for this game is just atrocious and seems like they want it to fail.

Since you can tag during supers now, it actually seems crazy, like the crossover combination in MVC1, characters will alternate spamming lockdown supers like gold warmachine.

For future reference, if Capcom announces a character that appeared in 3 but also got a makeover over the years, there's a very good chance they're using the version from 3. Marvel characters being the exception. Even Capcom has to respect that MCU synergy.

Re-using assets in the sequel of a VS. game isn't anything new. Why the fuck would you be upset about it now?
I get that the lack of newcomers sucks ass (the roster in general really) but them not re-using assets doesn't mean you'd get more new characters. Idk, maybe my expectations are so far at rock bottom that having roster be slightly better than we thought it was going to be is enough that the re-use of assets don't bother me.

Yeah, I was expecting Gamora to be teamed up with Jedah. Seems really weird that they had Thanos in it again.
I am relaxed. Also, they'd all ready done that back in one of the early gameplay trailers, having a disparate number so they matched them with another character already presented (with Ultron). Only they didn't focus on the already introduced character at all, didn't have their name or any of that. It's almost as if they forgot they had already introduced him!
That might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it does seem like the marketing is all over the place for this.
Thanos looks great, don't get me wrong. It's just weird.

Sucks that despite all the re-using of assets we only got Morrigan and Chun-Li back. I guess Jean, Storm and X-23 are off-limits but not even She-Hulk or Trish or Tron Bonne? (And the list goes on...)
Or in the case of hawkeye, reuse wesker's head and slap it on the bro-skin

LOL. Someone needs to remind you that meter is used for combo breakers in this game. The way they work is you spend bar and you tag out to your other character and get to try to save your other dude who is stuck in the combo. Its not just cash out damage. Having full bars from nothing is huge. Especially because if you wanna talk damage then it should be a guaranteed dead character off of a touch with that much meter in a tag game with DHC. Plus think...if you kill someone with the way breakers work in this game do they really have access to breakers themselves anymore with no partner to tag out to? They certainly couldn't punish you if they did in quite the same format as normal.
That power is stronk.
I really can't muster any interest for Nemesis or Frank West.

MvC2 had 7 newcomers out of 56 total.
So, again, why is it such a bad thing now?

It ain't as cool as the penalty box that's for sure. It's more in line with the power stone and time stone.

I think someone's gonna gold warmachine it during the surge or at the very least something to the effect of like multiple Ammy team supers since we can swap during them now.
Reality one is the craziest thus far.
Time stone looks kinda boring but it gives your character some unique cancel properties alongside the speed boost. So it has many applications.
Power stone also gives some unique mechanics like being push block immunity and auto wall/ground bounces with no limits on top of just increasing damage.
Space stone looks very cool but it's actually weaker than it looks.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting if they keep the free Level 3 mechanic because that's gonna weigh heavier on how useful this stone is than any of the others, I think.
