The whole situation is like middle-school drama. Immature shit they are both exploiting while they go laughing to the bank with tons of $$$. Caring about it is useless and a waste of time.

That said, Bad Blood was a hit, this Swish Swish stuff isn't really picking up tbh.

For some reason the star in the video isnt Katy or Nicki... it's Gretchen. Who?

An old (born 1959) Brazilian singer. She used to be famous, sold 12M albums back in the 70s 80s 90s. She is know as the 'queen of the ass' in Brazil, which might be the reason she is staring Katy's and Niki's video.

Lately she's become famous again in the [Brazilian] internet because she has such an awesome GIF selection. She was part of some reality shows on TV, she was also actress and even a porn actress once (I guess only once). What a celebrity we are exporting.

There is also this video of her dancing with Van Damme live on Brazilian TV, till he gets a bonner. lol

I actually enjoyed this lol, only bad part wasn't Nicki being green screened in. Issue I can see for Katy is that people won't use this version to stream the song because of the interludes.

I love pop but it's meh these days tbh.
Guess we will never see someone like MJ, Madonna etc for a long while.

Lady Gaga was cool but the new songs aren't as great as the ones at the start of her career.

Edit: Katy Perry also was pretty good for a long while tho. And Nicki had some good ones aswell.

I don't even hate the song but my God that video makes the song secondary anyway.

I can't wait until the day when Nicki Minaj disappears. She's everywhere and I'm sick of it.

How dare you! Nicki Minaj is just like MC Lyte, if you don't count the inability to stay dressed, the fake ass and sounding like a retarded Elmer Fudd with her "rhymes".

And I can't believe OP used the word "legend". How low have we sunk for that to happen?

why can't people just be humble and talk about normal shit lol.

So played out, boring, simple, uncreative- and I consider myself very open to pop.

I'd still probably dance to it if I'm drunk in a club though, probably all they are trying to accomplish.

Love love love Joanne. Its sound just wasn't on trend, and it wasn't trying to be. Gaga wanted to make something small and earnest for a change, which hasn't really been her brand. Like her other albums it'll get love once the next one drops. lol

Funny that Katy Perry was also jumping on the "authenticity" train with this album but actually came off colder and more artificial. I think the songwriter failed her more than anything, this song included.
