Yeah that's bullshit to me, I'll give you DNA because I love them both, but Kendrick's XXX only gets interesting after the beat change and his rapping on it in my opinion though quite good never reaches the level of Danny's title track which acts as a sort of microcosm for the entire album concept.

I'll say Kendrick's DNA has the best production. I personally like Danny's best, Earl's would be 1st if you remove Na'kel's verse.
He has songs here and there that I can admit to liking, but he's a mediocre rapper overall.

A lot of the beats would be awesome as backing tracks for freestyles. I actually feel the same way about Sonic Adventure 2's beats. Great instrumentals, too bad Hunnid-P can't rap for shit.

I mean shit, I rap along to some songs, but I always skip the N-Word, just blank it out. Then again, what songs I choose to rap to are going to vary based on their content, IMO. I don't rap Bone Thugs at all but early Rakim I do (since he never says the word on any of the Eric B albums, anyway).
