I hate when a good Google search can't even turn up if a book is cancelled or what, but by all accounts Wolf just dried up and vanished along with Kot for the last 18 months after arc 2 so I just left it there. Not sure if it got a proper resolution or not honestly!
I guess part was it just wasn't as good as the other stuff I've read by him, but I would normally give a writer like Kot and his style more rope to make it all work. All of that combined though and it was like okay, I don't want to keep getting burned investing in books that he jumps ship on, but as it turns out he stopped putting out stuff all together after that. Hopefully it's a good new start for him though because that other stuff is very intelligent and thoughtful, and there's some other stuff I haven't read out there by him that's supposed to be quite good too.
