Commando: Steel Disaster rips off music from Chrono Trigger, Gundam Wing

So this DS Metal Slug ripoff (previously known as 07 Commando) is now out in the US, and folks over at the GameFAQs forum for the game found that it rips off music from other games. Here's a video of Commando:

The title music, which you can hear right at the beginning of that video, is stolen from the Heavyarms stage in Gundam Wing: Endless Duel for SFC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lM9LMxw3cY

The game over music (hear it at the end of the video) is a slowed-down clip of "Black Omen" from Chrono Trigger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb4YB0ia46w

I wonder how much of the music is swiped from something else, and how much of the art is directly lifted from or based on Metal Slug art. And I wonder how long it'll be until lawsuits are filed. moar like steal disaster lolz

At first I was like "yeah yeah yeah..." and "I don't hear the Chrono Trigger music..." then I got to the VERY end and was like O_O... that's the same damn song. That's freaking terrible.

This makes me wanna buy it before it gets pulled from shelves. And the fact that someone mentioned Metal Slug in the same breath of this game.

And I was thinking the other day, why would you put "disaster" in the title of your game unless it actually has something to do with disasters (natural disasters, ect...)? That's just something I would worry about reviewers having a field day with if they don't like it.

I saw this game at Gamestop yesterday, and thought it was a shameless ripoff of Metal Slug.

I didn't realize it shamelessly ripped off other games, too.
