Two things, the physics on the dive into the hat make no sense. Mario gets a boost from nothing so he can reach it.

Has anyone else noticed people instinctively throw the hat like it works the same way as the spin jump in galaxy. Hilarious really cause i know i'll do it as well.

If you pause the footage and enhance 100X you can see a micro black hole inside Mario's Hat that pulls him in every time.

Yes, it makes no sense that Mario can jump off nothing to jump off his flying hat...
