You can get to 60 at around 80 hours of game time give or take for messing around. So no you dont.
It also has a dungeon finder tool
Maybe I just didn't think about it enough or I'm too used to WoW, but it didn't really strike me until yesterday that you can talk to the same people that try to attack you.
Had a super drawn out battle with a sorcerer with me winning after almost 15 minutes, then later in town he came up to me and asked if I was the same person from before. I said I was, we talked for a bit and agreed it was a really fun fight, then I buffed him and we went on our ways. Was really neat even if I'm sure most people wont be so civil.

The leveling is fun since you will get all new different skill almost every other level. For the slayer that I am playing, level 20 is where the game start to get real fun, since slayer will get all the tool they need to do a lot of chain combo, stun, knock back, etc. One thing I like about Tera is every ability you got have its use in different situation, with the limited mana regeneration that slayer had, it does take some skill to know what ability to use.
There are tons of abilities too, a lot of time I don't even remember use some of them.

So i'm downloading the game and just setup a 3-month subscription.
It now says "Expires: May 02, 2012 (0 days)"
Does my time start after the expiration date or is this some kind of bug?

Sounds like a bug. You get 30 days with the purchase. If you run into issues tomorrow, contact support.

We've pinpointed the cause of the inaccurate remaining subscription time, an issue that's affecting about 2000 accounts. We've configured these accounts so that those players will be able to continue adventuring in TERA while we work to resolve the issue on the backend, where it won't affect you or your friends and guildmates.

Tried a few times but when they out level you by +15 it's not really a fair fight lol
edit* and this level 39 lancer is one shotting people right outside town and then running back in anytime he starts lose health. lol

Man I'm having a much better time than I expected. Particularly good at delivering satisfying loot; with gear having unique looks on a per-race basis, pretty much every piece of gear looks awesome as you level up. Lower level dungeons are pretty generous with the loot, too.
Been continuing with the Priest and I'm glad I did, as the way healing works in this game is really fun compared to most MMOs, though at his level it still feels pretty faceroll (my close-range heal can heal as many people as I can wrangle into the target area for more than 50% of their life and it's basically instant cast). I especially enjoy how threat/aggro and resource management work for the healers. Very refreshing and is quite good at rewarding skillful play on a second-to-second basis; there's no opportunity for lulls or just spacing out, because both threat and player health/status are relevant all the way down to windows of just a couple seconds.
I'm uploading a video of the last boss in Sinestral Manor, just to show what Priest healing looks like on your typical BAM. Unfortunately it's not the prettiest boss to look at visually since some of it takes place in a cramped space and thus I am steering my camera view pretty close (since it controls where my heals physically hit on the ground). I'll edit it into this post when it's done.

I don't think the SMAA injector is working. Nothing happens when i press pause/break.
I don't know if it's even really worth it because I don't really have any jaggies to begin with.\
Edit: Copied the contents, not the folder itself. Got it. It does make a difference. Wow.

Yeah, they're all updated. It works on Skyrim, but when I try with TERA it crashes with the error FFFF:FFFF, whatever that means. I'm not too bothered though

just got into armor crafting..
Going rather well.. already made some blue level 30 armor that I can't wear yet (lv 28)..
Thankfully my guild has been dumping all of their unused crafting materials into the guild bank.. so I've been making some withdrawals of necessary components and depositing shiny pieces of armor in return.

So I finally get my new gaming pc hooked up and I go to downoad and play Tera, I run into the dreaded infinite log in loop. Anyone experience this? I can't even log in to write up a ticket or talk to customer service via chat. I called them and they are suppose to call me back in about 20 mins. Would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I tried all that already. Nothing seems to work. This is really frustrating.
Does the same thing. Set both the launcher and the client to run as Administrator and I still get Fatal Client Exception Error. Delete the injector files and it runs fine.
Thanks for the help, but never mind. Maybe it'll work when I upgrade my PC next month.

This is some of the most glorious eye candy I've ever had on my monitor, it runs great, I didn't tweak shit and my rig is pretty old (X3, 2 GB 4870). And it's a fun game. I sent a guild application request to Believe on Dragonfall last night, didn't check today yet if I was accepted.

You will not be bored if you roll on a PVP server. Questing is always guaranteed to be ... interesting.
We were fighting BAMs close to a guild (that will remain anonymous for now) in a party of 4. Just as we finish off one of the BAMs, one of our members logs out. I pan my camera around while we're waiting, only to be greeted by a full party of reds. They've gone Outlaw, boys! I managed to escape to camp somehow (<3 Lion) but the rest of my party was not so lucky.
We regroup and port back to camp and from that point forward, our party decides to hunt them down and kill any of them on sight. Vengeance will be ours! Let's just say that we racked up quite a kill count while questing that night. I'm expecting a guild war any day now. So much fun.

This. I'm still only 35, so I'm just enjoying the quests and hunting.
As a tank, I don't think I'll EVER have to worry about gearing up via instancing, either.Bro, the game just came out. I'm a huge MMO player, but I'm a grand total of level zero. Endgame will be waiting for me when I have more time <3. Unless of course you're fighting for a raid spot.
