Sony's support was beyond pathetic. They've never kept the list of compatible games updated on their website, and some of the whitelist restrictions were just dumb.
;_;7
Its why I think their vr will flop, they just let things die if its not successful right out the gate like move, psvita, pv tv, ps now.
Sony never even bothered trying with this thing - there's not even Netflix in the UK/EU.

Is this the thing that lets me play my ps4 on a different tv in the house?

Sony does not own Netflix.
The lack of 1080p for the Ui/ Netflix me ditch mine immediately.
Except that Netflix DOES own an application for the system. Sony's fault for not getting them to make a regional.
Well, I hope this is a sign of a Vita emulator coming to PS4.
Sony biggest mistake was to think that there was a market for this kind of devices.
The shitty support surely didn't help either.
I hope not.
Why? I own a Vita and even I can't see that being a bad thing. It's a dead platform.
Will they allow it to be cracked open to play all games?
I just want Lumines!

Hope we get some native firmware hacks soon, it would be the best emulator box

I've been saying it in a few Sony threads but most Sony add ons just get supported poorly. Move controllers, network adapter and hard drive for ps2.
This was a really elegant machine that got no traction because the messaging wasn't clear.
I always considered getting one but it felt like a gimped vita with no real advantages.
Agreed.
Glad I picked one up in the $20 Best Buy sale a couple of months ago.
That's too bad, maybe more chance now due to no patches?Vita scene has been pretty dead, tbh.
Japan wasn't the market for this thing. They actually buy handhelds there.I'm more surprised at the PSTV tanking in Japan. I mean it was expected for it to crash and burn in the west because the no one cares about the Vita there but in Japan the Vita still sells somewhat decent numbers.
One of the worst devices ever released by Sony.
