even when he becomes the #1 hero i'm always going to think back to that time he left a little girl in the hands of a villain because he didn't want to make a scene

I like that. It's a common and human mistake, and it's triply good if Deku actually learns from it.

If anything, that's an insanely relatable situation. It's not like Deku even had good reason to take Eri away from her 'father'. He just felt something was really off by the atmosphere, but that's not exactly just cause. So without that, Deku had no reason to not follow the ever present social instinct to just keep quiet and mind your business, even if other instincts came in conflict with that.

Deku isn't and was never going to be a perfect hero who makes every correct decision. And that means he's gonna fuck up, to potentially disastrous consequences. That that danger exists is a good thing in a character.

I want to see if Horikoshi is going to address the implications of Overhaul now being of two minds made one.

There's no way he's going to be completely coherent after a move like that.

I think Nemuto just died. That or nemuto brain is somewhere in his body. Either way I don't see Overhaul going back to normal.

Somehow I doubt it he used the bullets body to enhance his own and Overhaul stated he will be dead

I just wonder how much practice did Overhaul did with his ability it looks like he had to will the reconstruction or maybe it's automatic and the stopping he has to will

Either way he's lucky he didn't end up killing himself

Wouldn't be surprised if Overhaul fucked up his trait in the process of making himself into a chimera. He basically just turned himself into a Noomu.

...........

You know they probably needed AFO to create nomu since he can move quirks around

With him gone they probably need nomu and look who has nowhere to go after this arc that can create monsters

It will be some ironic karma if he ended up the same situation as Eri and being forced to create nomus

It's been a minute since I read it, but I liked it. As a manga, it was a solid read. That said, it has a sequel manga, Tokyo Ghoul: Re, and I ended up dropping it out of boredom and it being frustrating to keep up with all the characters (art style/design makes them look all samey), so I dunno, take that as you will. Maybe when it finishes one day, I'll re-read the entire thing.

I really liked the original manga.
The sequel has been kind of whatever with some great stuff now and then, but there's way too many characters now and it's hard to keep them apart.
It's something that's probably better read in one go when it's done.

It takes a while to get going and lately been loosing its way a bit IMO but I'd still recommend it as easily one of best things of late. Try to catch the redone version of chapter 1 to see if the current artstyle and Ishida's storyboarding mesh with you.

Sugita instantly comes to my mind. At least when it comes to Twice's comically opposite moments he'd be perfect there. An older slightly deranged Gintoki. Maybe his voice is too "young" though.

Horikoshi is a westeabo. If you look at it MHA has as much, if not more hero comics tropes than shounen tropes.

Yup when I first saw Mirio holding Eri the first thing I thought of was "Batman Death in The Family" cool homage.

Even Lock Rock got more than the girls technically since we find out more about him than them and saved their asses from being crushed and had a moment

Girls besides having a dragon just distracted one bullet that they should easily beat

This is kind of a systemic problem w/ how the author allocated the power sets. None of the girls are really direct combat oriented except Tsu so its harder to give them things to do.

Not really for this arc

Nejire is part of the the big three and we saw her one shot two giants

And one is the number 10 hero that turns into a dragon

Plus we had a whole thing of Ochako learning hand to hand combat

There's no reason why they are not involved if we are talking about powers

Big Three this arc:

Tamaki: Essentially solos three bullets. Gets a pretty good three chapter run.
Mirio: Handles two bullets and Chisaki. Probably the most significant character of the arc.
Nejire: Helps assist a pro hero potentially defeat one bullet off screen.

Do schools in Japan reshuffle their classes year 1/2/3 in high school like they do in the US?

Hadn't ever thought about that, but it'd be an opportunity to change things up when they make the Y1->Y2 transition (and might indicate Monoma getting mixed in later on.)

No. The class you have is what you'll be with for the rest of high school.
