From the wonderful guitar of Steve Clark, the member of the group who sadly departed from this life back in 1991. His guitar work wasn't the most technically brilliant of his time, or even of the group, but he put his heart and soul into it and he came up with some very amazing stuff, to the point that he is often listed among the top guitarists of the last century. He is very, very much missed.

The link you quoted wouldn't work, so I just searched his name on the main site. I didn't like it I'm afraid - it was competently played, but it seemed to be just a constant patter of guitar noise with little melody, really crushing the song. Sorry man, just not my cup of tea. But points for an original take on a well known song. 4/10.

Born Slippy is a 90's classic. I love its use in Trainspotting, the way that first keyboard chord comes in just as a plume of Begbie's smoke hits Rent's face, it's just perfect. One of the best uses of music in movie for me.

Big, epic sound. Reminded me of Hans Zimmer initially, but got a bit more ethereal. I liked it, but maybe not something I'd listen to for music's sake if you know what I mean. More like good soundtrack music to me.

The music reminded me a little of a more upbeat Tool; deep dark riffs with interesting dynamics and staccato rhythms. Not so sure on the voice if I'm honest. He's technically gifted, no doubt, just not my thing in terms of male vocals. But the lyrics Fiction, I know you're a stickler! There was some gems in there:

3/10 Sorry man, the whole production is a bit overdone. its also bit too easy listening / generic world for me. She has a great voice though. I do like celtic, or world music though. check out Dead Can Dance if you havent already.

Oh, this is lovely - very sublime. I listen to a lot of stuff like this, but mostly instrumental - however, I like this guy's tone. It's unobtrusive and flows over the music well. Nice.
