This is a minor trick I recently learned to grab high-res boxes with no artifacts:

Take SSBM:

The url you'd see on the game's page is this:

http://media.ign.com/games/image/ob...-Smash-Bros-Melee_Cube_US_ESRBboxart_160h.jpg

If you remove the "boxart_160h", you get the following:

http://media.ign.com/games/image/object/016/016387/Super-Smash-Bros-Melee_Cube_US_ESRB.jpg

Which give you the above HQ box.

A recent example of Project X Zone:

The url on the page:

http://assets2.ignimgs.com/2013/06/19/pxzboxfront1jpg-50eda9_160h.jpg

Now remove the "_160h", you get this:

http://assets2.ignimgs.com/2013/06/19/pxzboxfront1jpg-50eda9.jpg

Which again gives you the above box.

Not all will lead you to jumbo boxes, I tried it with Luigi's Mansion GC and only got a tiny one...

So in a surprise turn of events, IGN's now home to very HQ boxes that put Amazon and others to shame, try it if you're looking for a great box!

Click the box until you have it bigger, right click, copy the URL...

Just search for "sonic generations packshot", click Search Tools and and change "Any Size" to "Large" ?
It's right there. Even a PAL/PEGI version without the "playable in 3D" stuff.
