Scaramucci reports directly to Trump, so Priebus is not his boss even though usually the comms director (as with anyone else in the WH) is supposed to report to the chief of staff.

Maybe it will be like in that episode of American Dad where each of the nerds became school announcer and each one had his meltdowns sooner than the last. I guess then it will also end the same way: Trump will take over the job himself and instantly start to admit molesting little girls.

If trump keeps pushing the narrative that Mueller is compromised or has conflicts of interest

the press will ask Scarramucci about his statements

Scarramucci will likely take the bait and defend trumps statements

The press will ask him about his own conflicts of interest and failures to disclose/divest

He will hopefully freak out and make the administration suffer even more

I legit don't think this guy lasts more than a couple months. This is the problem with hiring non-politicians: their success in the relatively small world of finance gives them a false sense of competence.

Especially when the entire media apparatus is constantly focused on taking you down a peg.

Could Priebus be a leaker? Maybe I would suspect his primary loyalty is to the GOP.

The ironic thing is that many reports have said that there are multiple leakers in the white House, so the investigation BY Trump will actually end up as a witch hunt, unlike the investigation INTO Trump.
