Besides, I'm pretty sure there's a complete design document lying around somewhere for the rest of the Shenmue story, including some gameplay scenarios. Remember Kikizo said that a source told them that the game was finished and ready to be ported to a next gen console. (Hi Adam!!)

Did you say whatever to sequels to ZOE and Chrono and Shenmue. You just alienated yourself from 95% of GAF :lol

And Kowloon's Gate rocks, although since 90% of GAF probably doesn't even know what game it is I'll give you some leeway on that one.

I'd vote for Bullet Witch, it's one of my favorite X360 games, BUT you have to be able to forgive some of the flaws and general lack of polish. I'd love a sequel that fixed the problems of the first.

Quite clearly aimed at games where no sequels are expected/announced (hence the lack of Zelda/MGS/FF/MH/DQ(!) etc.).

But seriously I can understand why they will never do it though ironically a game like Shenmue would do extremely well nowadays even playing it now it's still well ahead of other so called 'open world games' in terms of characterisation and exploration it's still tops.

Iv'e always thought that. Plus on this generation hardware it could look so awesome. Now this makes me all nostalgic and a bit sad just thinking about it.

SheMue should be a no-brainer i mean they already got their next-gen engine for yakuza kenzan/3.

I know about the MMO. From the sounds of it, it's in name only.

I want a single player end to the story.

Shenmue 3 is a must. Wouldn't mind a Shenmue 1/2 remake with some new mechanics and graphics to lead people into S3.

HD Megaman X with 2D handdrawn sprites ftw.

Chrono 3? Probably the most obvious shit ever. Square is embarrassing for not pursuing this.

I'd rather see Kojima work on a new project than go back to Z.O.E but a ZOE3 could be EPIC.

Biohazard Outbreak? YESSSSS. Best of both worlds capcom. RE can go back to singleplayer mastery and Outbreak can be the cooperative and competitive version of the series.

Nah, Shenmue was the definition of mediocre. I think EGM put it best when they gave it like a 6.0 and said it's a good "door knocking sim".

So insanely boring.

I heard Shenmue 2 was better at least.

IU was actually an amazingly good game. The problem with the game was that Square didn't give enough funds to Tri-ace to pay for good VO talent. In the end, willfull suspension was ruined. I played the entire game muted listening to a OST and enjoyed the experience ten times more. The voice acting realyl ruins an otherwise great JRPG.
