I don't visit other forums much but I think this one in particular is absolutely ripe with original avatars. GAF inspired me to make my own. I think it's one of the more unique aspects of GAF: all these personalized avatars and many of them with stories behind them.

Somebody should make one of those neat mosaic picture of all the GAF avatars. It could be a mosaic of a giant Excel spreadsheet with sales numbers on it.

...which reminds me, maybe it's long past time for me to change my avatar back to classic Raph :lol

I don't give a chit... I'm too lazy and untalented to make my own... born without the right side of my brain. I like Fett and have been using a Fett variation avatar since I ran up on this place 4 years ago.

the only problem that I have with getting a new avatar is that I don't know how/what to use, to make gifs....and I don't have webspace for posting images.

Any recommendations for either predicament?

I used to make my own animated gifs but I just don't post here all that much anymore to bother with it. It's easier to just find a neat pic and crop it for an avatar.

current one captured and edited from a Honda ad "yume no chikara" or something like that.

Previous highlights were my dancing lum, which I captured and edited from the end credits

and dancing spiderman, which I nicked from somewhere but as a gif, not someone's avatar.
