6"x9" bubble mailer (you can get away with a smaller size) + UltraPro Top Loader (they cost $3-$4 at Wal-Mart for a pack of 25) + cardboard. Shipping USPS First Class tends to be $2.50-$3.00 depending on the location.

I place each Amiibo card in its own TopLoader, stack them together and sandwich them in between two pieces of cardboard (taped on the sides) and finally inserted into the bubble mailer. I also write "do not bend" on the front and back of the envelopes because most mailmen will try and cram it into your mailbox if they think it'll fit. Not sure if they really read it though.

I've been going in a standard envelope, but the card inside is in a plastic top loader. Most stores that sell trading cards (Walmart, Target, maybe TRU, etc) should have them for relatively cheap.

I'm sure something at least with a little bit of hardness to it (maybe a thin piece of cardboard, even the cardboard part of the blister packaging) would suffice too. I would totally recommend the toploaders as they're cheap, and you can use them for tons of other stuff too lol

I would think if you had a bunch of cards you were trading, a small bubble mailer would be decent. So essentially you'd be paying around 50 cents (one stamp is 50 cents I believe lol), or about a buck on two stamps...Bubble mailers are $2.54 no matter the size if I'm not mistaken, it goes by weight up to a certain point. But I think a envelope + protection for the card inside would be perfectly fine all around!

EDIT: Oh yeah, I believe I'm all caught up in the feedback post. If anyone wants to double check for me, that'd be great lol.

I actually save both the cardboard and the card packaging (I just neatly cut off the tops of each thing) then tape them shut (just using scotch tape, nothing fancy).

I then use the smallest USPS Priority Mail envelopes they have and then mail out. And yes, I do Priority for the flat shipping rate and the tracking number.

Anyways, I got a bit greedy (lol) and bought 2 more packs from Target, though they're now limiting you to 2 packs per person. They did say that their restocks are more regular so cards should be easy to come by.

In any case, my greed is your gain as I have some new doubles for trade! One of which I had traded out, but ended up getting the same character again.

How are you guys shipping these out? I'm gonna make a trade post soon but I just want to know how to do everything beforehand before I start. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

I obviously don't want to damage any cards in shipment, so just curious how you guys are going about it, and what sleeves and packing slips you're using.

When I mailed one to lakerchick, I put it into one of those hard card protectors ("toploaders") and wrapped it in a piece of business card stock folded like a letter. Kept it rigid and double safe; although I also chose to mail it at the counter instead of slapping a stamp on it. They marked it a special way so it wouldn't go through some sorting rollers or somethin.

Yeah I was thinking toploaders are definitely the way to go. What do you mean about the business card stock? You had some blank ones and folded them together around the card? Interesting. Can you buy that at Staples or some equivalent? Sorry for all the questions, if I do this I'm doing it right lol

You can buy business card stock paper that's the same size as a regular 8.5" x 11" piece of paper just a heavier "weight". I did a trifold like it was a normal letter and put the toploader in it. It was probably overkill -- the toploader is very rigid anyways -- I was just being doubly sure it wouldn't be folded in transit.

Today was a good day. My buddy who works as a Nintendo retail representative for the state I live in was doing a demo event at a local GameStop for Yoshi's Wooly World this afternoon. He had a bunch of swag with him to hand out to people who attended including sweet binders for AC amiibo cards.

What's awesome is it's a decent quality binder, and the pages inside have separate pockets on both sides of each page so cards aren't rubbing against each other. It holds 104 cards, more than enough space for all of series 1. Here's some pics:

I have to imagine that there are reps in other states who do similar events and get the same swag to dole out. I'd check your local GameStops and Best Buys to ask if/when these events are taking place to see if you can get one too!

Woah woah woah...wait, you're in the US then? Because that's the first time I think we've ever heard of the binder even appearing here.

But why the heck would they just give them out as swag? I'd literally throw money for the binder...and I'm actually buying one from overseas because I want it so bad.

That's really awesome though, the binders are such a neat idea and really well done.

That is not "the" binder. It is "a" binder with art on the outside and plain binder pages inside. Still very cool.

I'm using an Ultra Pro 2 pocket binder to hold mine. It holds 80 cards (I'm only planning to have just under that: 12 packs plus promos). My daughter and I currently share it, but I will buy another when series 2 is released.
