With the upgrades?

If you're asking if the Definitive Edition (and all the content that entails) is coming to PC, then yep.

They also announced it's going to be available on gamepass correct?

If so, fuck yes I love my gamepass

Have got a ton of time spent into games there combined that with EA access which is like $2.50 a month, amazing library of games to waste time on

Hurray for free upgrade! I still haven't touched my copy of ReCore yet so it looks like the waiting paid off. Looking forward to impressions.

Trailer for the DE of ReCore. I'm not seeing any dramatic differences in the visuals, but they showed a decent chunk of the new Eye of Obsidian content:

Looks like we'll be doing some racing/obstacle courses with the fifth bot in a brand new area (set at night this time, as they teased months ago). I'm also seeing some of the new weapon modes they mentioned, and it wraps up with a piece of a new cutscene.

I really loved the demo on PC, but hearing that shit was left out and the game was basically ignored turned me away. It looks like this is going to fix most of the issues I had with that. I'll probably pick it up.

Colors are brighter and the visuals look properly rendered instead of a blurry mess. You can actually see the sunspots on Joule's face and arms in that trailer when before all that detail was blurred out.

Ah, fair enough. I found the game to be pretty sharp and attractive on PC, so it'll be nice to have XBOX users getting a better experience now.

More enemy types? Nice.

Anyone know if the content is on disk for the definitive edition from the Xbox store? Or is it just a repackaging of the old disk and I'd have to download everything?

Not to sound too obsessive, but I reaaaally hope that the load times are reduced to something acceptable. Although the fact that it's never mentioned while it is the most obvious flaw of the game is worrying. :/

I'll wait for any reviews if they are not going to publish full list of improvements. See what players think. I was really hoping for graphic fidelity improvements and tweaks for the waypoint system.

Anyone know when pre-orders go up for Best Buy? Just checked it and it's still not listed.

Its been so long that I'll just start a new game. It was really fun but I held off when I heard that more content was coming (who knew it would take a year?)

Excited to dive back in.

Any word on fixing the repetitive later game?

In that case, yeah. I believe Play Anywhere games (always?) come out same day as the Xbox version

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/recore/9nblggh1z6fq

IIRC, Resident Evil 7 didn't come out same day but I could be mistaken.

However, it's a bit different when you're releasing a new game versus updating an existing one so it's likely to be same day. Otherwise it would be a mess if you loaded up your save on Xbox Definitive Edition and tried to go to the PC Original Edition (since it probably converts your save file when you load it on the new version which probably isn't back compat with the original version).

If they've fixed the load times, improved textures and added more enemies then that is more than enough already for me to jump back into this! Don't even think I'll wait for the X version.

The differences I see are textures on characters, mountains, weapons much crisper in Dae details as well. That blue thing on the dog robot looks clearly better in DE too.

Hopefully the AA will be better as well. I find it odd though that they said high resolution and not 4K in the trailer though. Then again it's for the normal Xbox One as well of course, I guess we'll get info on X later.

There's a huge bump in texture resolution.

Skybox now looking better too. All in all a decent update it seems. I also expect a more stable frame rate.

For those asking for 60 fps: unless there is a 1080p60fps mode on the Xbox One X that we don't know of yet the game will probably stay at 30fps.

Edit:
Reading the list of improvents on the Recore website it seems to me they describe the improvements for all Xbox One console versions not just only Xbox One X, am I correct? So the game is not >900p on the Xbox One (S) ?
