Sonic looks HIDEOUS in-game, holy shit and Knuckles... I didn't think it could be possible but he looks EVEN WORSE.

Knuckles is the only Sonic character I like and he got the Ralf Jones treatment lol.

So, apparently in an attempt to keep anything possibly controversial out of the game, they removed the characters' buttocks. They just have legs with thighs of a constant thin width that plug straight into their pubic bones, like sick figures.
Sonic looks terrible in game in that video. I also can't get over this ridiculous Knuckles design.

Is sports tape the new belts & zippers? All those muay thai characters from fighting games were ahead of their time.
Kind of reminds me of one of those PS2 era beatemup platformers. Like Knack.
I actually think the designs, minus the random tape, were fine... until I saw them in-game.

The new designs all look good to me, especially Tails. He's the only character design I've ever actually liked in this series though (and the werehog). That trailer looks good aside from the awful music. What happened to Crush 40?
