In a quiet week for new releases, ‘Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ occupies the top spot for a second week.

It is a good start to the year for Ubisoft who now have the most weeks at No1 so far in 2017 with four (‘For Honor’ also grabbed two weeks at the top a month ago). An impressive second week for ‘Lego Worlds’ sees it leapfrog ‘Horizon: Zero Dawn’, up one place to No2 with only a 34% decline in sales. ‘Horizon: Zero Dawn’, Sony’s biggest ever PS4 launch of a new IP, has to settle for No3. Familiar faces, ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ and ‘FIFA 17’ remain popular; GTA creeping up one place to No4, while FIFA shimmies up two places to No5. ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ is now the only Switch game in the Top 10, down 2 places to No6, while ‘1-2 Switch’ falls from No9 to No17. Retailer hardware bundling propels 3 old Xbox One exclusives back in to the Top 40, with re-entries for ‘Forza Motorsport 5’ at No16, ‘Rare Reply’ at No27 and ‘Ryse: Son of Rome’ at No31. A retailer promotion also signals a re-entry for ‘Homefront: The Revolution’, back in the Top 40 at No22. The only new title to make the Top 40 this week is ‘Styx: Shards of Darkness’ from Focus Home Interactive & Maximum Games, debuting at No37.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
We see Zelda drop massive in its second week, which suggests either Switch is bombing big time or it is severely supply constrained. I am guessing it is the latter.

Gameindustry.biz article says the hardware is still in short supply indeed.
Any more reports from UK for both the Switch and Zelda though? I know they're both not available on Amazon.co.uk, but wanted to get a broader look at the situation.

Forza getting into the top ten again is crazy, think its going to be like GTA in that when people buy a new Xbox they pick up FH3 as well - though obviously not to the same degree as GTA V :)

Zelda is sold out everywhere and has been since launch weekend baring the Nintendo store who charge full RRP for it

They're not available on Amazon, you can order with an estimated stock date of 31st March

EDIT: ignore missed the not part

Nioh is only just getting a release in Germany now? And is Horizon ZD not out there yet? Is this due to delays for censorship? I mean, Horizon doesn't have a lot of especially violent stuff in it.

You are looking February Germany chart, Horizon is March.

Switch is out of stock everywhere in the UK, Zelda isn't much better off.

New stock of the Switch on the 31st.

I hope by everywhere you refer to not just Amazon. And yes, at least Amazon states new stock coming in March 31st. Reading the U.K. Switch thread here, it seems ASDA got some stock a few days ago at least, but I don't know how much that can help.

I'm not sure why exactly you would think that, but no. Amazon, Nintendo store, GAME, Grainger, ShopTo, John Lewis, Tescos, etc.

ShopTo and Nintendo both have the 31st date too.

Are you only referring to the Neon console? Because Shopto have the grey console in stock. 365games also.

Not saying stock is plentiful, but they're available.

shopto only have grey on backorder.

365 have one at £50 markup, I don't count that as in stock.

Not even lying, it was in stock earlier when I looked, it even said "13 people are thinking of buying this soon" or somesuch. Guess it sold out in between my message and whenever you looked!

It was sold out when I looked this morning too. Guess some places are getting very small shipments in.

That looks like a great third week for Zelda in Spain, so presumably a good hold for Switch as well.

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/mass-effect-andromeda-debuts-at-no-1/0180538

The game becomes the third biggest launch of the year behind Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Horizon Zero Dawn, although it can only claim the third best week one for a Mass Effect game, beating just the first title in the series, which released exclusively on Xbox 360 back in November 2007 and debuted in 12th.

Both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 also hit No.1 in their first weeks, the latter being the first to launch simultaneously across PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

55 per cent of Andromeda’s sales were on PS4, with 41 per cent on Xbox One and four per cent on PC – although all these numbers exclude digital, of course.

Here’s the UK Top 10 in full for the week ending March 25th:

1 Mass Effect: Andromeda (EA)
2 Ghost Recon: Wildlands (Ubisoft)
3 LEGO Worlds (Warner Bros)
4 Horizon Zero Dawn (Sony)
5 Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)
6 The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
7 FIFA 17 (EA)
8 Rocket League (505 Games)
9 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Activision)
10 Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft)

This week's UK PR and All SKUs Top 40 are out

https://ukie.org.uk/news/2017/03/‘mass-effect-andromeda'-launches-straight-no1

The original ‘Mass Effect' debuted on Xbox 360 at No12 on the All Formats Top 40 (Units) back in Nov07, but since then EA have always debuted at No1with this series (‘Mass Effect 2' back in week 4, 2010 and ‘Mass Effect 3' back in week 10, 2012). Week 1 series highpoint is still ‘Mass Effect 3', which was the first to see all versions released in the same week (Xbox360/PS3/PC), with PC box taking 10% of sales units back then.
‘Mass Effect Andromeda' is the 3rd biggest launch of the year so far (behind the recent releases of ‘Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands' and ‘Horizon Zero Dawn') and Andromeda has the 3rd best week 1 for the Mass Effect franchise in terms of physical sales. ‘Mass Effect Andromeda' shows a sales unit split of 55% PS4, 41% Xbox One and just 4% on PC, with an undivulged quantity having sold through EA Origin on PC (and also of course PSN / Xbox Live).

EDIT: Damn you Hanmik XD

ME Andromeda third biggest ME week one launch. Behind Ghost Recon and Horizon this year.

Platform split PS4 55%, XB1 41%

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/mass-...t-no-1/0180538

All formats
Mass Effect: Andromeda (EA)
Ghost Recon: Wildlands (Ubisoft)
LEGO Worlds (Warner Bros)
Horizon Zero Dawn (Sony)
Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
FIFA 17 (EA)
Rocket League (505 Games)
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (Activision)
Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft)

I think the key thing about Andromeda is going to be what sort of drop it gets on week 2. I expect the lukewarm reviews and all the negativity will kill its sales tail.

Guys, guys. You're *all* winners here, lol.

So ME:A debuts below ME2 and ME3. Oh and we've got percentages now. Neat.
