Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...
Yeah, I backed it since it looked so good, just haven't had time to try it yet.

I was kind of hyped for an evolution of the Torchlight formula - but maybe they felt they'd taken it as far as they could (especially vs good competition like Diablo and Path of Exile)

Hob hasn't got me yet

Yeah, I am not yet fully in myself, but it looks very intriguing and I kinda trust Runic to make a good game.

Never heard of this until today, but it showed up in my Discovery Queue and looks pretty charming.

A musical adventure where you use singing to save the world! Play as a silly bard who embarks on a globe-trotting journey to learn about the mysterious Earthsong, said to be able to prevent the universe’s imminent end. Along the way there’s a huge cast of characters to meet, puzzles to solve and songs to sing!

In Wandersong you're a walking musical instrument, and you use song to interact with everything. Different things respond to your music in different ways, so it's up to you to sing your songs, unlock the world's secrets and make new friends!

Looks like my type of fun, chill out puzzle game...do you need to know how to play chess to play it though, or does it teach you the rules you need to adhere by?
It uses the movements of chess pieces (specifically, how they take) but no more than that. You don't need to know any advanced moves like en passant, castling, or any actual rules (who wins, draws, etc.).

Played it for a quick 10m before i had to go play 5's

Lost track of time and was nearly late.

Game itself is simple and the build quality is all that is needed for a puzzle game.

Concept is really simple but good fun.

Interesting to see where it goes further down the line as i am only at level 10/11

Cuphead - $19.99 (XB1, PC)
yGh5RKcKn8fjwXu4bb7Xt4.jpg

http://www.cupheadgame.com/

Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

It's sat atop my most wanted game list for so long, and it's living up to every expectation! I'm elated it's doing so well both critically and commercially.

The Crimsonland/Neon Chrome folks just released their next game Jydge. Looks like a kind of Dredd inspired future cop roguelike. I spent too much money lately to be impulsive, but it looks fun. One for the wishlist sales for me.
