Fire Emblem Heroes |OT| Mount Breeding Simulator

So I got 3 Oscars

+Atk/-Def
+Spd/-HP
+Res/-Atk

Should I use the +Atk or +Spd one? Also rally speed defence good as skill foddler or should I just merge them all together?

Thank you for your advices! I'll focus on bringing BLyn and Ike to level 40 (and Ninian too: she is just too useful to leave her on the bench). I'm curious about Nowi too, since she does have a quite a few perks (though she is slooooooow). My Ike reached level 33 rather quickly thanks to the training tower and a few crystals.
I guess I'll see which character to use between Frederick and Anna. I don't have much to choose from regarding green units anyway.

You don't need one unit of each color. Sometimes it is best to just go with 3/4 colors, and use skills to shore up any weak spots.

If you are going to use Anna, you should start upgrading her. 2 star units are quite weak, and earn less SP per level. The lv 1-20 run is pretty quick as it is. I don't know how many feathers you currently have, but the upgrade to 3 stars is only 200. The upgrade to 4 stars is 2000. The final upgrade to 5 stars is 20k. Right now, 20k might be too much, but as you get a solid team together, and as you wade into Arena and the special events, you end up getting that many feathers every 2 weeks or so.

Here's a tip for levelling characters. Focus on one at a time. Make a team of Ninian, a healer (I prefer one with physic and imbue so they don't get in the way, but anything works), the unit you want to raise, and then maybe Ike or Brave Lyn.

Let the unit you want to raise get as many kills as possible without dying. Use Ninian to give them 2 turns per round. Use the healer to keep their HP up. Use Ike or Lyn to take a hit/protect the unit if need be. Lyn might actually be better for the lower levels, since she won't auto-counter melee units.

Also, never use crystals on combat units that you want as your core team. You get extra SP from levelling via defeated enemies, and SP is harder to accumulate than EXP. You will eventually want to start wading into skill inheritance, and many builds are going to need upwards of 2k SP. The 1-40 grind without killing enemies is only 600 SP.

Do the 20% tt bonus units get the full combat bonus?

Yes. Bonuses made Genny godlike (for a healer) during the Echoes TT.

Double SP on Friday and Saturday are the best times for leveling up your units as they'll also get more SP. Some units also have passive skills that can increase SP.

While this is true, I wouldn't recommend waiting 3 days if you are trying to get your first core team up and running. You can always run floor 7-8 of the training tower for those 6 SP kills once you have a team of 40s. What is the cutoff for earning SP from lower level enemies when you are Lv40? Level 31?

I think it's like 35.

Also SP MVPs are Gray and Summer Elise, giving you double SP for any user wielding their specific weapon type (red sword / green mage). I'd love to know if there are any others with those abilities.

During the last tempest, with Gray and double SP, Marthcina was getting 24 SP a kill. It was amazing.

Hmm, that's good but still makes it hard to pick between Titania or Soren. On one hand Titania would benefit even more from xander and camus having hone and fortify cavs. On the other hand if I don't bring Soren I have no magic damage.

I think S.Corrin does that for blue tomes and S.Tiki does that for green axes.

Atk for the Brave build, Spd for Firesweep. Dual Rallies are amazing for boosting arena score.

You could do both in different teams. Have a "gain SP" team and a mop up team. You lose relatively little in Tempest trials from using 2 teams instead of 1. Speed is up to 1.5x score. Survivability is only 1.2x.

That's a good point, I rarely had to use my backup team last TT and I only had one bonus unit about halfway through so I didn't put much thought into it. I think I'll go Titania on the primary team for full pony buffs and Soren can sit on backup team with Lilina and Linde (mage power).

Might as well slap a second Hone Cavalry on her as well since I've got the fodder.

Oh, man. That was sensational. It was the first time I'd bothered with Tempest Trials as never gave the first a go, but what fun it was.

I think S.Corrin does that for blue tomes and S.Tiki does that for green axes.

S. Corrin has Fortify Fliers in her C slot.

S. Robin has Lance Valor (double SP for lances).

I still use Live for Bounty in my S. Camilla's B slot for the daily crystals from the Training Tower.

I just installed iOS 11 on my iPhone 7 and the game doesn't seem to be running as smoothly. I'm getting a lot of stuttering frames, actually. The new built-in screen recording is nice though. The quality of the videos isn't great, but it's a nice tool to record things like Chain Challenges where I can review and remember what worked and what didn't.

S. Corrin has double blue tome XP as her default

I didn't know about summer robin tho. Damn.

Red Units:
Lyn 5* (Lv 28) - decent
Ike 5* (Lv 1) - excellent
Eliwood 4* (Lv 1)
Stalh 2* (Lv 3)
Alfonse 2* (Lv 20)
Hana 3* (Lv 11) - has life and death to give to a tome user
Sophia 2* (Lv 5)
Raigh 2* (Lv 1)

Blue Units:
Nephenee 5* (Lv 30) - good (edit thought she was a flier)
Effie 4* (Lv 25) - double check the IVs for Effie, make sure to level the one thats (+atk or +def or -spd) (can check her potential stats base 5* by going to the unlock potential screen with her)
Effie 4* (Lv 1)
Ninian 5* (Lv 25) - Essential for dance/sing
Jagen 4* (Lv 1) - one of the statistically worst units but has fortify cavalry to give
Nowi 4* (Lv 24) - Really good her lightning breath+ gives her distant counter for free.
Oboro 3* (Lv 1)
Sharena 2* (Lv 12) - pretty good worth promoting her to 4* or 5*

Green Units:
Gunter 4* (Lv 4) - has hone calvary buff to give
Narcian 4* (Lv 20) - emerald axe makes him at least usable against blue units
Barst 3* (Lv 1)
Frederick 3* (shoot, I thought he was 4*) (Lv 1)
Anna 2* (Lv 22) - probably the most well rounded hero of your current greens

Grey Units:
Brave Lyn 5* (Lv 32) - top tier obv
Maria 4* (Lv 25)
Wrys 4* (Lv 20) - all healers are kind of meh
Azama 4* (Lv 17)
Virion 2* (Lv 1) - sucks
Matthew 2* (Lv 1) - has hone speed 3 at 4* to feed to your core team

everything else is pretty much crap.

Took me a couple of attempts but I managed to get 5,010 points in Arena Assault.

I've definitely got this down now but, I still need to make so many improvements to make things a little easier.

I also need to know how to farm items from Arena Assault because I have no idea what you have to do for it to give you items since it seems random at times.

Flier formation is really useful where Elincia can move front to back to front lines at will giving almost cav like mobility.

start arena assault with one hero, on the the easiest difficulty, then you can use 4 heroes against 1 opponent on the easiest map until you reach 7 wins you'll get 3 random items.

Thanks.

Can you repeat that multiple times per day or does it only work once per day?

Edit: Never mind, I see you can repeat it often.

Hana is a pretty good glass cannon if you are willing to invest in her.

Also why does Nephenee need a flier team?
I agree. Hana is pretty good, and certainly not only useful as L&D fodder.

Even with only minimal SI investment, she's one of the only units who can destroy Hector without taking any damage on her own.

I put only Moonbow and Drag Back on mine, and while she's pretty much a green/red killing specialist with that setup, she's still very effective at what she does. She can also beat a decent number of red swords if she initiates, including top tier units like Ryoma.

Beat Infernal with A-Tiki/Ninian/Sonya/Masked Marth. This feels like the easiest challenge map yet, I just went in with my team from last Tempest Trial and beat it first try..

Hinata from the free pull, at least he's good fury fodder.

I think to do infernal I'll run fem corrin, ninian bow Lyn and brave Ike. Might swap Lyn for merric to take advantage of corrins res sealing.

I find it amusing that IS is basically like "stop cheesing every maps with horses."

I pulled all the blue orbs on the free summon. No Ninian again but I did get a 5 star Reinhardt. +Def/-Spd. My current one is +Res/-Spd.

I know it's minute and he gets guaranteed doubled by everyone but which one should I merge into? Defenses wise its either 27/28 or 30/25

Got another Leon from my free pull. I'm still replenishing orbs from Nephenee and Elincia so no more pulling on these banners even if I'm still hunting for a decent IV Soren.

Managed to complete Normal and Lunatic BHB on the first try and Infernal on the second. My lineup was Ike, Raven, Rebecca and Firesweep Hinoka, who I swapped out for Brave Lucina for Infernal due to the defensive nature of the map.

I used a basic strategy of luring the enemy down the left chokepoint with Brave Lucina on the first turn, followed by Raven 1RKO'ing Ninian who got too close to remove unpredictable dance movements. From there I moved Brave Lucina back and repositioned Raven to safety, leaving Ike to tank the rest of the units on the left chokepoint. Rebecca shot enemies here and there replenishing HP with Breath of Life, but I don't remember the exact details.

Looks like the Fire Emblem Warriors special maps start tomorrow. I wonder what they'll be like. At least we know they'll have some interesting music.
