Hey guys I'm cleaning out my closet and looking to unload some old sets. The Big Boy is a UCS Blockade Runner. I rebuilt it pretty recently; unfortunately it's not complete but it's real close. There's a particular component that you attach onto the side of the hull, one copy on each side. I am missing pieces for one of those guys, so you can actually display the thing and it looks complete from one side...

Anyway I'm poking around ebay and I see this listing that's pretty much my own situation: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Star-W...l-Blockade-Runner-2001-Set-10019/221755178938, except my box is in slightly better condition and I *know* it's incomplete but only just.

So a couple q's:

Is this a good place to list things like this?
The auction is @ $700, ebay says it's "trending" at $786.66--is this thing really worth that much? Is there any good resource for old LEGO set values?
I've never really sold shit over the Internet before, any tips on shipping / insuring bigass LEGO boxes like this?

I have a few other big Star Wars sets, a couple of which are discontinued. Definitely going to spend some time digging through what's worth what over the weekend...

A good month ago I posted in the regular LEGO thread that I had some 90's sets I was looking to sell. A good year or so I came out of my dark ages, but my interest is mostly with the new Star Wars sets. Some people replied that they might be interested in some of the 90's sets, so here goes. Please note that they all come without the original box, but with the original instructions (most of which are in good condition). Stickers are either missing or applied.

1) You should probably say what country you're in, as trading minifigs overseas would probably not be cost-effective vs. just buying them on eBay. Your profile says Florida so I assume US, but people may not check that!

2) You could try SwapFig if you get no luck here, you can list your collection and your desires and it matches you up with people.

All right, so I went and took some pictures of my UCS Imperial Shuttle that I'm looking to sell. Threw them in this album. Because I like flat prices I'll say for now that it'll be $425 total including shipping within the US, though international shipping I'd have to probably add on for once I calculate the exact weight and cost. Send a PM if interested.

Some things to note is that the cockpit stickers are peeling rather baddy, I hadn't known about that until now. The information plaque sticker is mostly fine, with light peeling at the edges and an air bubble in the center. Still, may be worth looking into replica replacement stickers for the cockpit or gluing them back down. Also, the binding edge of the first two manuals are a bit bent, but the pages should be fine and aren't falling out or anything. Other than those issues it includes all five original minifigs, both the stand and the landing gear, the keys to adjust the wings, etc. All but the original box and spare pieces. I'll even throw in a brick separator from my drawer of them!
