Dang just how bad is ps4 beating xbone in the U.K.? Even prey has a massive PS4 tilt even though bioshock was Xbox 360 exclusive for a few months (unless I'm crazy I wasn't gaming at the time) what are these Xbox guys playing just ghost recon?

It's pretty bad and no one can use the "I'm waiting for Scorpio" yet. I guess resolution and performance matters or PS4 had the multi-plat preference in the bag.

The gap in UK actually isn't that big. People just seem to generally lean toward PS4 with multiplats.

UK Software Sales for PlayStation 4 / Xbox One are roughly 60:40 in favour of Sony's console.

By the way, if we take a look at those games that aren't new like Grand Theft Auto V (good game to measure hardware sales), Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, FIFA 17 (bundles in this case) or Rocket League the Xbox One ratio is healthy.

I noticed that a month ago MCV magazine had a redesign and changed from a weekly publication to a bimonthly publication, and now they no longer include UK market data with weekly overall sales units and revenue. Also, the April charts haven't been published yet so it is likely they have stopped publishing the monthly charts.

This means I won't be able to keep compiling every month these detailed charts with software sales breakdown by platform.

Wow...I think sony must be pretty pleased with farpoint sales at this point. It charted in Spain too? Did any psvr games charted in Spain previously?

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia had a great debut in Spain, just a 20% drop from Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright / Conquest.

Former best PSVR exclusive first week was VR Worlds with 2,000 units. Farpoint is the first top 5 of a VR exclusive game in Spain.

Bruno, having a discussion in another thread and I need your help!

Do you have the PS4/XB1 splits for FIFA (any version will do really), over a longer period of time than just 1 week? I looked up the yearly/monthly charts and it has platforms in PS4, XO, PS3, 360, Is that sales order or just the default order? I assume default as every game was like that?

What was Fates' first week in the UK anyway? Going back to that week's thread I didn't see actual numbers.

There wasn't enough data to calculate an approximate figure for its launch week.

I can't provide the life-to-date sales split for FIFA 17, but by looking at weekly charts the PlayStation 4 version holds the advantage thanks to its first month sales and December sales. The Xbox One version has been the best selling sku since March but the actual units sales are so slow that it would need a very long time maintaining the current pace to catch the PlayStation 4 version. That won't happen because FIFA 18 will be released in just 4 months.

And yes, that is the default order.

Sorry, Chris. You were right about week 1 being a too big difference, so my comment about FIFA deal helping it sell more on Xbox One than PS4 was too definitive a statement for LTD.

My mind was on the Xbox One SKU being ahead in most weeks after week 1. That's certainly rare this gen for all other games and is definitely because of the FIFA deal and effects of bundles. My reply was after all to a comment that falsely stated the deal had done jack shit ;)

After you posted the numbers yesterday I looked up the rest of the PAL 2016 threads after week 39. It's interesting to see the PS4 install base influence keeping the PS4 SKU ahead for first 4 weeks, after which Xbox One SKU influenced by deal and bundles from 5th week starts being ahead almost every week.

I forgot today was a bank holiday in the UK and I was here wasting my time pressing F5 at UKIE and GfK Chart Track site every 5 minutes.

UKIE didn't take the day off, charts are up.

Warner's 'Injustice 2' holds on to the No.1 slot for a second week

‘Injustice 2’ takes the No1 spot for two weeks running in the All Formats Chart, making it the 6th new title of 2017 to retain the No1 position.

Capcom’s new release ‘Ultra Street Fighter II’ for Nintendo Switch makes it in at No10 while another new title for Nintendo Switch ‘Disgaea 5: Complete’ just about makes it into the top 40 at No36.

Activision Blizzard’s ‘Overwatch’ climbs 16 places to No2, while ‘Dishonored 2’ re-enters the charts in at No8. ‘GTA V’ holds steady to take another week in the top 5 at No3 while ‘Fifa 17’ climbs back in at No4. Sony’s ‘Farpoint’ drops 17 places into No19 and a final new entry to the All Formats Chart goes to Grey Box with ‘Rime’ at No27.

Ultra Street Fighter 2 being so much higher than Disgaea is so disappointing.

They did say they needed to do more in the UK. We are the anti-Japan, espcially when it comes to RPG games.

It's going to be higher in the US too. SF2 managed to sell out on Amazon US.

Street fighter 2 I remember playing on my 3DO the ultra version, still mid 90's, that and Samurai Showdown...

It also reviewed badly, from EG ;

The question is, is Street Fighter 2 on Switch such a rip-off that I suggest people steer clear of the game? I've come to the conclusion that I have no choice but to do so.

Players correctly choosing Injustice makes me happy. Its not anti japan, its anti consumer charging for this rip off from 1994.
