Alioune doesn't have a better Morrigan, his Morrigan has a better movement but his execution is a lot sloppier than Chris G's and he makes accidental hypers all the time.
Cammy is shaping up to be the Zero of AE2012. She has some major wins unlike Zero but Cammy players seem to be cursed to be underachievers.

From what it looked like to me, he needed that extra relaunch to be completely sure scaling wasn't going to fuck him over anyways. Not sure how fast Vergil's normals are, but I don't think Yipes would take that chance, especially if it ended up giving him the meter needed for swords too.

Gimlet is the worst-scaling hyper in the game. 75K at the end of a combo. I think it does more than that in chip damage.

This isn't the first time I've seen someone express surprise over this, either! Even after a bunch of other posters and I were talking about it in the Winter Brawl thread! Why didn't anyone believe us?
Maybe we should have posted about it in the FGW thread too.
But they might be running Windjammers at the Break Weekly soon, so keep an eye out for it.
It was there, but no stream. I didn't see that many people that was there for it. The game has never been popular on the east coast unfortunately.
I have never seen so many ragequits at a tournament in my life. So sad to see what happened with Yipes. SF was great until grand finals.
I still can't believe Chris G did exactly what he told me what he was going to do on Friday.
I still can't believe Windjammers turned out to be literally that crack on Sunday, especially since I got took out by Tyrone Biggums since I couldn't see shit because of how tired I was.
What kills me is that I was letting people know about it so that they could enter the tournament which we got 13 people for, then a bunch more come up after the tournament is underway talking about how they wanted to enter and didn't know about it when it was announced over the loudspeaker multiple times.
I can't believe Sandman took it. I was talking with Jaxel and mentioning that he must go to MIT or some shit and turns out that he's a software engineer. No wonder his geometry game was so vicious.
Then after Windjammers was over, I see him and Bryheem goin in hard at Tetris Attack for money. You get fighting game players around certain games and it gets ultra competitive.
And just wait until Divekick drops. Sandman wants to be the world champ in it. I told him to play it at PAX East, so we'll see.
And Jaxel already has uploads on YouTube, so keep a look out for them vids once they're available sometime today.

I'm not really surprised that people flaked on the Windjammers tourney, though; when you throw something like that together on the fly, you basically have to drag everyone who wanted to sign up for it into one spot before you start, and that takes up more time than its worth. Plus, a couple of games ended up running late on the last day, so people may not have been able to finish in time.

I'm thinking since its called a battle royale, theres gonna be multiple teams. Team BT, Team AGE, Team EG or perhaps....Team Japan?
I think I remember hearing some Zangief eliminated him. Ironic since he was playing against Lando using him. And Zangief is supposed to be Degen tier now. LOL.

You seems to easily disregard DoA, but you list 2 community sites for that, but only 1 for KoF, it's not too late to fix that, especially when DreamCancel focuses more on the US and Orochinagi leans more towards Europe.
As a software developer, 150k doesn't surprise me, sounds like a crazy amount of money, but it's the price for something big like a game, even if it's a character, it involves so much stuff. Gotta pay the developers, the resources, the programs that do all the graphics, etc.
