I don't know. If they're going to sell a product shouldn't they make sure it looks presentable in every way? They may not have a translation team but they should at least check it. They could even ask passionate fans to help out and include their names as a special thanks.

If you can't do either then maybe just don't bring the book overseas. I know that what I'm saying might sound stupid to many people but idont like it when there are translation errors that could have been caught before hand.

Sounds like we’re lucky to even the have physical release of Caladrius Blaze in the US as they just snuck by the ESRB. “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth” certainly applies here...

I doubt the ESRB would have denied it, but I bet it would have gotten an M.

I'm kind of scared to see how the in-game translation is now.

LRG clarified. Seems the process for rating a physical release is much more involved compared to digital-only, which could have triggered a higher rating.

Look, they wanted to get it out before the ESRB requirement not because it was too risqué, but because having to deal with the ESRB would have cut in their profits for that release. LRG is a budget publisher. They tackle games that most publishers steer clear from because there isn't a whole lot of money in them. You shouldn't expect them to do a whole lot beyond what they're contractually obliged to do.

Going forward, it wouldn't surprise me should they publicly consider a price increase to see if their customers would be ok with paying for this new ESRB cost.

Anyway, for me personally it's far worse that none of these games get patched up before being put on physical media. Think I can handle a bit of engrish.

It's not our book, we are only the publisher...

I saw they are contemplating another LE for something. I'm not a buyer of those things, but I wonder if they will consider the criticism those have received as of late.

I don't know what to make of Josh's tweets. Super highly requested; western publisher/developer who haven't released much else (or have stopped releasing) for Vita?

No ideas lol. Had he not said the Japanese part, I would've hoped it was Koei Tecmo/Atelier and that they'd be releasing a few more of their games in the west, but alas.

EDIT: Or were those from LA?. They got plenty of remasters on the console.

Really odd request but does anyone have one of those protective sleeve cases from LRG that they don't want? I was sure I added it to my Ys Origins Variant Cover order but I got the shipping notification and noticed that only the shipping box was added with no trace of the protective case.

I wanted one for this game but I'd have to pay shipping plus the item which makes it almost 8 bucks.

Okay, so, this is a personal and somewhat complex web of nonsense involving a highly unstable individual I was friends and briefly FWBs with, but I can only assume there will be a never-ending clusterfuck on gaf now until the end of time, which inevitably involves you guys and gals on the mod team in some way, so I'm an open book here. The woman in question ended up being completely psychotic and held a grudge against me after a bizarre love triangle situation developed a few years ago between me, her, and another girl (the other girl I ended up in a long-term relationship with shortly thereafter). This NOLA story she apparently just put up on social media is a delusion of a deeply disturbed person who had a total psychological breakdown as a result of me and the other girl getting together, because she (phew, yeah...) became obsessively infatuated with the other girl (she's bi) on sight when the three of us met up. I wanted to just stay friends with the girl making the accusation and made it super super clear ahead of time that me and the other girl were interested in each other romantically and that could play out as such when we met up. Supposedly this was not a problem for her from accusation, but in reality she uhhh wanted me to die painfully after seeing me and the other girl interact. Plus she became infatuated with the other girl simultaneously to this (she's bi), which created the aforementioned bizarre love triangle that ended up causing her to implode and have an apparently very intense and long-lasting grudge. The whole story about how that love triangle thing played out is, frankly, nuts and scary, and involves this girl bringing us to a compound of dangerous scientology spinoff cultists on that same trip, who roofied us, attempted to recruit/scam me and attempted to abduct/rape the girl I ended up dating, in what was a fucking scary situation that resulted in me and the other girl and the rest of my friend circle never speaking to this girl from the accusation again.

If LRG were to do Battle Garegga, would they likely include the extras from the Japanese special edition, or just do a barebones case? I'm not normally into this two-minute window bullshit but if they'd do a worthwhile release for this game I'd go for it. Otherwise I'll just order the special edition.

I’ve largely tuned out of the teasing at this point. At this point they have probably a dozen awesome (to varying degree based on personal choice) things in the works, but unless they’re giving hints, I feel like there’s not much point getting worked up over it.

Would love to hear an official Switch support announcement though, since they’ve pretty clearly hinted at that.

I just noticed this morning that Rabi-Ribi was out for PS4 on disc (European version) and available on Play-Asia since early September. Were LRG going to do anything special with their edition, like a manual? Otherwise I'll just get it from P-A.

Assuming it's already set. But shouldn't it be? Not everything can be a last-minute decision. Or maybe it is, who knows.

Probably not. Sekai Project is taking their time and all.

Heads up: if you missed the Special Reserve edition of Shadow Warrior 2, they've put their leftovers on sale. They're also no longer doing pre-orders, which also means that they won't be accepting new orders for the PS4 version of Absolver until Oct 25th. This will also mean that Ruiner won't be available until they have discs on hand.

They also confirmed that "legacy titles" will also be made available in the future, so there's hope for physical Hotline Miami 2 yet.

BTW, for anyone complaining that LRG's site is a pain to use, SRG is 100x worse. I had to re-enter information and PayPal stuff multiple times. Granted, I wasn't under the gun with a time limit like LRG, but still.

Glad SRG added a PayPal option though. That definitely wasn't there the last time I checked (for Strafe, which I ended up getting from LRG).
