We got this one to retailers a little early for a change, too -- I've even seen some reports of mom-and-pop shops breaking street date and selling it today -- so if you don't have it in your hands tomorrow, I couldn't tell you why.

Probably 'cause we're not important enough for retailer-senpai to notice us. *sniffle*

So I'm checking Bestbuy's website for the PS4 version, but I don't see it. I assume they're carrying it right? I guess I should call them just to be sure.

Best Buy rarely stocks our games right away. They'll typically get them in, but not for a while -- sometimes not for a few weeks after release, even.

Picked up Akiba's Trip in the EU/AU PSN sale... noticed the PS4 version is out (in US anyway)... hoping I'm not missing too much. $20 is a nice price for this (and Vita games in general). I'm a big Yakuza fan so hopefully its got a similar thing going for it.

Finally been able ta come back to this after like 3 months and got right to making some progress! Discovered a weapon I do like using which is the broom! Am I remembering right in that all gear can be made equal through fusing? Like no "this weapon is the most powerful no matter what" and ya can fearlessly keep upgrading your faves an not fall behind stat-wise?

One of the best things with the Vita for me is how it makes me play games in genres I usually have no interest in.

The latest experience have been Akiba's trip, I thought it would be a game as an excuse for fanservice (and maybe it is), but instead I found a satirical portrait of a subculture with an interesting combat system.

The removal of clothes in AS is to me as much about stripping people as a FPS is about killing people.

The satisfaction for me comes from stripping the attackers of their dignity by removing their clothes. The physical stripping is just a visual representation of a psychological condition.

TLDR: I recommend this game

Just got this on PS4. You can't start playing the game as any model you want, even in Toybox mode? Why?

Shame the still unannounced Akiba's Trip PC port didn't make it to Steam with the Steam Anime Sale. That would have been perfect. Maybe tomorrow?

Sooooo. I finished it in the morning. It was pretty satisfying to be honest. Liked it a lot. Some slowdowns here and there on the Vita but I can deal with it. Maybe I should have taken more time with it lol. I liked it a lot. But I finished it rather quick.

You should try another routes because some route are quite different from the other.

I'm playing on gamer and getting my ass heat. Doesn't help that the strongest weapon I have which is the laptop has the worst leg attack known to man.

Am I missing something or is it going to be this frustrating? Should I just start over on a lower difficulty? Does a new game carry over stats and let you change the difficulty?

I really don't understand this game at all, I was coming back from a mission and a fight started with 1 person, before I knew it there was like 6 people attacking me.. and I was "dead" within a few minutes. What a frustrating experience.

This is one janky game, but oddly charming. Kind of like the real city! Very accurate, map wise. Sorry XSeed, that dub had to go. Awkwaaaaaard.
