Bit on Golf Story. Seems ok. The aesthetic is ass, the dialog takes too long with those dynamic bubbles, and I wish there was more to slope / putting. Fun concept though, and sinking shots is satisfying. Will probably stick with it.

Picross S is legit. [...] That said. Guessing what you're drawing before it's finished is a fools gambit.

Lol right? The pictures are ok once they’re colored but beforehand... nah. Plus bit the end of a puzzle I’m usually in a seeing-red kind of berserker rage. Just too consumed by the task and the counts to see shapes. 😂

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is only $10 on the Mexican Eshop. Greattttt game.

SDV is only $8, right? Though I suppose there is a greater debate to be had about purchasing on alt region eShops based on price... I haven't done it yet and I would probably do so but I feel conflicted about it.

Oxenfree finally appeared in Europe!
It’s in the Coming Doon section (with today’s date) rather than actually releasing annoyingly.
£15.99 when the PS4 version went on sale yesterday for £5.79 has messed me up though. Is portability worth 3x the price? I don’t know...

(This also happened with Rayman, the day the Switch ‘definitve’ version released for £29.99 it was on sale on PS4 for £5.74 so I just grabbed it there)

I "love" (read: sarcasm) it when indies do this shit. Put it out fresh on a new platform while the old platforms get a massive sale or it's given away for free on steam or some nonsense. It really rubs me the very wrong way and makes me actively not want to buy your game and instead wait for a comparable sale. I get that it's often an ancient release on the old platforms but time your sales better. Make yourself not look like an asshole.

It was for €7.00 on a Humble Bundle until this Tuesday with 6 or 7 more games.
Each one must think what prefers.

Defeat monsters in each Dungeon to gain experience, while searching for the “key” that opens the door to the Boss room. Buy equipment at the Shop, team up with characters and defeat the Boss to clear a scenario. Conquer all 21 scenarios from level 1 through 5 to obtain passwords. Obtain all of them to make your way to the final scenario!

If you own this title on your Wii, perform a system transfer from your Wii to your Wii U to receive a special upgrade price.

Use each of your attacks effectively to defeat your enemies. To clear a stage, defeat the boss that awaits you at the end. Fight your way through five exciting stages that include the City Streets, Junkyard, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Backstreets.

BoxBoy 2 & 3 are going to be mine :D (have they been cheaper before? I think they got another discount previously).

Not that there aren't lots of great games but I was kind of hoping for Zero Gunner 2 this week.

Also hoped the Nintendo Arcade Archives series would see weekly releases. Any idea what is next and when it's out?

I'm pretty sure no. Hell, I don't recall 3rd party N64 games ever going on sale.

no n64 vc game that wasn't nintendo has been on sale. same is mostly true for the other platforms as well, unless the game was in one of the triforce IPs: castlevania, mega man, street fighter.

So I picked up Axiom Verge and just started playing, and I’ve got a bit of a gripe.

The buttons for “accept” and “cancel” are set to the American PlayStation standard (so in this case, B is accept and A is cancel). You can customize the controls, but unfortunately “accept” is also locked to “jump” so it kinda screws everything up.

I know this is a minor issue, and it’s not like I never play PlayStation games, but when making something for a Nintendo console it would be nice to have the option to set A/B to the more common Japanese standard. Pressing A to cancel is just super weird.

Yea it's mind boggling how this keeps happening, especially in "OMG I love classic Nintendo game, so I made my own version of it!"-games.

Feeling the pressure to pick up Golf Story, Picross S, Stardew Valley, and Volgarr. I would hop on Axiom Verge but I am holding out for the physical version (same with Shantae and Shovel Knight).

Looking to pick up both Fire Emblem and Mario and that is really my available gaming budget for the month. Not to mention wanting to pick up the Mario and Luigi remake since the GBA original is one of my favorite and most nostalgic games. Then you throw in that Goomba amiibo and arrrrrgh.

Everybody knows the A button is so labeled to stand for “accept” and the B button is so labeled to stand for “bad”.

Surprisingly many games known already (compared to how few titles we usually know one week before).

In addition, these games are November 17, according to the NoE eShop:
* Rogue Trooper Redux
* Don't Knock Twice

Lets make a small contest to celebrate the launch of 3Souls full version. First one to write the answer will get a code of the game :).

Which location of a Nintendo videogame does it refer this location, Big Bang Fun Club, in 3Souls?

And here is a clue, extracted from thoughts of Nophes (the main character on the second chapter) when he sees the club:

"I think I've seen this club in another city already, but it was more for bugs than Ánimas."

Answer with the videogame name and the name of the original location ;).

Good Luck!
